My self-summary
I love lots and lots of art -- making it and experiencing other people's. I aim to be a rigorously honest, passionate, fearless person who values hard work, humility, kindness, openness, and drag queen style eccentricity. My fave filmmakers are pedro almodovar, werner herzog, and john waters. I'm a liberal who believes government is here to help people help themselves -- therefore I believe in affordable quality education and healthcare for all. I don't own a TV, but I love watching trash on youtbe like fat cats eating steak in Japan. I don't exercise, drink booze, or smoke so I won't be your bud in those areas although I respect and don't mind if you enjoy doing that stuff. Except chain smoking because you're killing me, in a second-hand sort of way. I'll compromise and ride a bike sometimes, lol. Oh yeah, live jazz, an exhibit, a slam poetry reading, a play, a movie, and conversations late into the night make me happy. I'd prefer a fun dinner with good friends to partying it up at a big anonymous shin dig.
What I’m doing with my life
Indie Writer & Filmmaker:
I’m really good at
smiling, smirking, sort of frowning
The first things people usually notice about me
elbows, lips
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Few of my faves...
Music: Anything Sung From the Gut, Flamenco, Tango, Olga Guillot, Benny More, Edie Gorme, The Magnetic Fields, Rufus Wainwright, Goldfrapp, Joan Baez, Jazz, The Gotan Project, Radio Deliro, Manu Chao, The Chronic 2001, 93.5 KDay.

Films: Everything (Docs & Fiction) except revolting blockbusters like "300." HBO Films, Almodovar Films, Werner Herzog Docs, Errol Morris Docs, Outfest Legacy Project Films, The NeverEnding Story, Latcho Drom, El Norte, Killer of Sheep, A League of Their Own, The Kid Stays in the Picture, My Best Fiend, Burden of Dreams, Tarnation, Beetlejuice, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Mommie Dearest, WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? [1962], Portrait of Jason, City of God, Serial Mom, Eve's Bayou, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.
Also AWFUL rancid celluloid waste like "Blue Powder" -- failed tragedies make more hilarious comedies.

Books: "The Souls of Black Folk," "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success," & "Out of Africa." Starting "When God was a Woman."
The six things I could never do without
oxygen, heart, most of my brain, ribs, dreams, growth
On a typical Friday night I am
All Art all the time: Films (Quality, Foreign, Underground, Eccentric, Avant-garde, Documentaries, and REALLY bad ones), Art Exhibits, Plays, Books, Live Performances (Flamenco, Tango, etc). Discussing Art, Philosophy, Spirituality, Politics, & Useless Trash from the warm comfiness of home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a mushy teddy bear despite the fact that I rarely smile in pictures. There's nothing "hard-edged" about my personality. Sorry. I'm a proud dork! ;p
You should message me if
You're a kind, honest, brazen, and feminine woman who likes to make out & watch movies.

That's pretty much all I've got for now. Look forward to meeting you!
