I am a long time Austinite and a really laid back guy. I love going out for a drink and watching live music. I also enjoy cooking, and I'm pretty good at it. I'd love to find someone who enjoys it as well, so we can cook together (who am I kidding, I don't mind just being the chef if you hate cooking).
I like seeing movies and its always fun to try new restaurants, bars, etc., but I am perfectly happy with a quiet night at home.
I used to think that beer=lonestar. Now I realize that there is such a thing as good beer, and I really enjoy it. I really like going on craft brewery tours. We have a lot here in austin and my goal is to tour them all, one pint at a time :) (its good to have goals, right?)
When it isn't too sweltering hot I like to ride dirtbikes and 4 wheelers. I also enjoy photography, so its not uncommon to see me with my camera around my neck.
I love the water and am happiest when I am at the lake - it could be swimming, out on a boat, or just lounging at a lakeside restaurant - it is all super relaxing.
One of my newest hobbies is home brewing. I figured I like to cook, and I like to drink, so why not combine them? The jury is still out on this one, but I am having a good time with it!
If this sounds like a good time to you, then we will get along just fine ;)
Movies: I lean toward standard guy stuff (but I don't mind seeing a chick flick with the right company). My favorite movies are Rounders, Boiler Room, Fight Club, Fast and Furious, 300, etc. I am also a real sucker for zombie movies, I even like the really bad ones (is there a bad zombie movie?).
TV: I would say my tv tastes run about the same. My favorite shows are Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Entourage, Boardwalk Empire, The Walking Dead, and Family Guy. I am also addicted to top chef, but not the dessert one.
Food: I like almost everything. I try to eat healthy most of the time, except for brunch - I love brunch.. is there a better meal? I think not.
Music: you can't chain this guy down, I am up for anything.
2. happy hour
4. my grill (I love to fire up the grill and drink a beer, I cook outside a couple times a week year round)
5. a computer/smartphone
6. my car (I know this sounds silly, but I have a couple hippie-ish friends that live without and I couldn't do it. I value the freedom too highly)
Anyone want to see it with me?
I don't understand what makes people want to stand in long lines, just so they can be terrified?
Also, I have a fair amount of down time at work that I like to spend looking at quickmatch on okcupid.. shhhh!
Well, at least 2 of those.
