My self-summary
Hello and thank you for dropping in on my profile.

Divorced some 6 years ago after 30 years, I know it’s time to move on. We had two smashing boys; youngest 18 and eldest 21 both now at University.

I've been lucky enough to work abroad (Malawi with VSO) and to travel (Africa/Europe).
Likes? Fun, art, sketching (one a day man!), seeing family and friends - especially my boys... people watching, travel.

I have a mobility impairment which helps me to understand and empathise and yes, I’m quite short (4’ 7” ask if you want to know more) - still, I could always get a box!.

Love to be out in the country and camping and sketching; I'm a bit fed up with my reduced mobility but there's always the car! I’m enjoying living on my own, but I’m missing the sharing, and caring about someone!

Yes, I am a happy bloke with a sense of humour, and love laughs, cuddles, holding hands and... $£*!

Thanks for reading this and good luck with your search for what you want.
What I’m doing with my life
Working out how this site works!
Sketching - I’m a one a day man… I need to improve.
I work as an architect & access consultant, working to improve access for people with disabilities, and I really enjoy it.
I’m really good at
… sketching, singing in the shower, talking, baking bread, listening, sex, bringing humour (sometimes), carpentry (particularly making boxes), seeing my boys, putting a pic-nic together. Ok, so one of those isn’t true!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: (lots, can’t imagine life without music) classical, blues, rock, jazz, indi, folk, world, live when I can (recently Richard Hawley, Seth Lakeman, Caro Emerald).

Books: recently read Thank You for The Days (Mark Radcliffe), Smut (Alan Bennett), Mantissa (John Fowles), The Empty Family (Colm Toibin), Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman! (Richard Feynman, The Third Policeman (Flann O'Brien)… oh, and 101 things with garlic!

Films, I like all sorts… Working Girl (yes, really), The English Patient (I cried), Life of Brian (I laughed), Alien (I screamed), There's Something About Mary (don't you love Jonathan Richman?!)… oh, and sex positions with a box!  Ok, I admit it, I have made one of these up!

TV: I don’t have one, but on Catch-Up TV I might watch some good stuff like - Come Dine With Me (you’ve gotta love Dave Lamb?), need I say more? OK, and I’ll add Horizon, HIGNFY, Mock the Week and, of course, First Dates (you’ve gotta love Maitre D' Fred Sirieix!).

Food: I like anything, except cloves (reminds me of the dentist!). Favourites are seafood, particularly molluscs, crab and lobster!  A lamb roast is delicious and I cook a mean risotto!  Oh, and how could I forget... garlic.
Six things I could never do without
My two boys, family and friends, but they’re not things so, apart from the obvious like air, water, food, light and iPhone, I’d say… music, my sketchbook, laughter, my radio, sex, my box and, lastly, lets say, er… oh, I know, garlic.

Oops, that’s seven and I’m told that you can’t have it all, so one will have to go! Now, which shall it be?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
… you!
On a typical Friday night I am
… I can’t say that on here!
You should message me if
… you want to - and you think that you might like to share life’s adventures and ups and downs with me.

Oh, and to all you ladies just wanting a quick fumble and tumble and asking for photos of my love bits - sorry, I don't do that so please don't ask! (Tee hee).
