My self-summary
Hi my name is Joe. I am kind of a Renaissance man. I am an actor, singer, poet, writer, and gourmet cook. One is only as old as one feels. I don't lie about my age here or post really old photos because that would be a waste of everyone's time once you meet the first time...DUHHH! I have posted some old photos of plays I have done over the years but the profile photo is pretty accurate (May 2014). One never knows where one will meet the one they are meant to be with. I am looking at this point in my life to find a friend, companion, and lover as well as an equal partner to share my life with. Someone who understands that caring is a 2 way street.

Someone to kiss, someone to miss
When you're away, to hear from each day
To be loved, to be loved
Oh, what a feeling to be loved

someone to care, someone to share
Lonely hours and the moments of despair
To be loved, to be loved
Oh, what a feeling to be loved

Yah it's Corney....but it is also true. To find the one person who not only understands you, but accepts who you are faults and all and who knows you feel the same way, and understands that there will be ups and downs and that a couple who remains strong through adversity can conquer anything life throws our way.
What I’m doing with my life
At my age just enjoying each day and as Bob Marley once said "Woke up dis morning, Smile at de rising sun"... I write a lot these days. I work in a large distribution center to earn my living. Someday I will write the great American play...at least I hope to. I don't cook as much as I used to because I don't have anyone to cook for. My mussels Fra Diavolo however is to die for!
I’m really good at
Stage actor for over 35 years, poet, singer, bard, gourmet cook...(Ask any of my friends LOL). Love to dance. sing, cook...dance and sing while cooking.. I can make my own pasta, bread, jams, Italian cooking is my forte (which is weird because I'm not Italian. I have however Been told that I do channel a 1/2 Italian 1/2 Jewish mother who believes the following outcome is inevitable.... that Somewhere between "Do you want more" and "NO"...the food will be on your plate). Hey it's funny but accurate!
My home made pizza is......WOW!!!!
The first things people usually notice about me
How friendly I am, my smile, my ability to start a conversation
with anyone like in a grocery line or at a public event. My passion
for all that I believe in. I've been told I have nice eyes (hazel..
green brown not blue brown but when I wear blue shirts...).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Reading: Currently I am reading Dan Browns latest "Inferno". One of his best offerings and I highly recommend you read it.

Anything by Harrison Ford ( except maybe that Amish one... just a bad choice as an actor I guess) ANYTHING directed by either Clint Eastwood or Ron Howard....They just don't make no junk! Any movie that moves me to think, cry, be happy, or sad, or feel as a human being, (My actor side I guess).

( I stole it from a really good seafood restaurant in Worcester MA but I changed it enough to make it my own recipe... What cooking is really all about. The Recipe consisting of a shrimp and scallop dish with summer veggie, garlic, and broth made from the shrimp shells, onion, garlic, carrot, and old bay reduced after removing the solids to a med thick consistency and the shrimp sauteed in this broth. No oil... No greasy taste NO FAT! A touch of white wine here finishes...but I digress LOL.

Crab cakes from MD. THE BEST...although I make a nice attempt to duplicate the taste. I never met a bivalve I didn't like... Clams, mussels, oysters, little necks, steamers, Shrimp from the LA gulf coast (Coming back after Katrina. Most you buy are from Indonesia or Asia... Freshness is EVERYTHING when it comes to seafood but it gets harder and harder to find head on prawns...AGAIN Those who know...know.).

A world in ruins from our own wish as human beings to destry ourselves any way we can, ....WOW Heavy stuff, but it is Balanced by....See my blessings above.

I like an intelligent, logical and informative debate on any of the above but be prepared as I am very informed on many things and I do not believe in rhetorical nonsense not backed up with facts. Intelligence in a partner is very important in order to communicate.

( Show ran 4 weekends and the honeydews were kept in the fridge to make them last the run....Rubbed those babies for an hour before each show to prevent NHOs...Ask and I'll tell you LOL!)

ALSO... I have to admit I have a Cold Stone Creamery Jones!!!
You should message me if
You are looking for LTR. You love to be romanced. Some of us never forgot what manners and being a gentleman means. I open doors for ladies and I believe in having manners (No matter what your sex) and that chivalry is not dead. My momma raised me right. If you feel that these are chauvinistic traits then you and I will probably NOT be a good match. If you enjoy good food and good conversation then we will get along just fine I'm sure.
The two of us
