My self-summary
"Zen has no goal; it is a travelling without point, with nowhere to go. To travel is to be alive, but to get somewhere is to be dead, for as our proverb says, 'To Travel well is better than to arrive.'", They Way of Zen by Alan Watts

I am a wanderer, a wonderer, and a whirlwind.
What I’m doing with my life
Getting lost in it. I have just returned from living in China for a few months where I worked at a teacher. Before that I was on the west coast doing software development and supporting science for a bit.
I’m really good at
Laughing, especially when it's not appropriate.
Climbing trees.
Taking risks.
Explaining things in an alternative manner.
Driving for long periods with few breaks and little sleep.
The first things people usually notice about me
My long hair or my silly laughs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Dhammapada, I am a Strange Loop, The Fractal Geometry of Nature

Meet Joe Black, Fantastic Planet, Plug & Pray, The Nature of Existence, Paprika

Star Trek, Hannibal, Dead Like Me, Daria, Battlestar Gallactica

Grimes, Yelle, Imogen Heap, Chromeo, Die Antwoord, Mika

Sushi, Pizza, Cheese, Bacon
Six things I could never do without
1) The void that both wonder and creativity spring from and all other forms of generation/creation.
2) Perceptual freedom and the ability to have a "belief".
3) The yin and yang of science and faith.
4) The beauty and humor behind finding truth in absurdity.
5) The ineffable beauty that any communication between you and me has something "lost in translation".
6) Numbers... how else would I have made this excellent list.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The evolution of evolution.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am sincere but I try to avoid being serious.
You should message me if
Just friends? Just enemies? Starstruck lovers?

Only one way to know, if you take the time -- I will too.
The two of us
