My self-summary
I'm a fun loving free-lance author. I love writing, reading, and I consider myself more sapiosexual (attracted to intellect) than anything. I like fantasy and fun conversation, and also cooking.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a BA in Video Game Production, and my dream is to work at Blizzard doing story development. However, I am disabled and currently seeking SSI to serve as my income, as I am unable to work most days.
I’m really good at
I'm apparently really good at making other people laugh. I listen to the goings on around me, and I am generally good at soothing the upset that might be around me. I dabble in digital painting, and I'm told I'm pretty good, and my writing has been reviewed as delightful. I've shown a fair hand at baking, and I can entertain while I cook, which I suppose is something of a talent.
The first things people usually notice about me
Unfortunately my weight is the first thing I think most people notice about me. Though I am working on losing weight, I'm a sizable person. Once people see past that, though, I think my intelligence shines through. I am charming and witty, and I make people laugh. I think that if people aren't willing to stick around long enough, then they are missing out.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I will literally read anything. I have even been known to sit down and read the dictionary. I love words. My favorite books include the Dark Tower novels, by Stephen King, the Sparrow and the Children of God, by Mary Doria Russle, and Shutter Island, by Dennis Lehane. I also love comic books, especially superhero ones. The newest Spiderman series is great, and I loved Blue Beetle. I don't like Superman, though.

Movies: I always have a hard time choosing a favorite movie, especially since new, good movies come out all the time. Suffice to say, as with my literary tastes, I like a lot of movies. My viewing pleasure oft leans toward horror and comedy (though I loath most of those comedic horror movies). I have been enjoying the 2011 remake of Nightmare on Elmstreet lately, if only for Jackie Earle Haley. I also really enjoy more philosophical (and I guess indie) films, like Ink or Lo. And of course, Disney. I don't care that I'm supposed to be too old for it, I love Disney movies.

Television: This is easier, as I don't watch a lot of TV. For serious television, I love nature documentaries, science documentaries, and cooking shows. For lighter watching, I enjoy Transformers Prime, Doctor Who, the Walking Dead, and Fringe. I loved Human Target (again, Jackie Earle Haley), but that series seems to seriously have died.

Music: Okay, you guessed it; my taste in music is eclectic too. I listen to a little of everything, from rap to techno to pop to classic rock, and not all of it in English. I love listening to music from around the world and exploring foreign culture through music.

Food: I like to eat. I like hot food, primarily; there's not a lot of chilled food that I've tried that I'm fond of. I have an affinity for classic Italian in specific.
The six things I could never do without
I could never be without my voice, my sense of touch, my family, the ability to feel wonder, a good book, and conversation with friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time in fantasy land, actually. As a fiction writer, I'm constantly taking the most banal occurrences in daily life and turning them into magical moments.

I also think about things that worry me a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at home, reading, wishing it was Saturday night so the new episode of Prime was on. I don't have a very active social life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll talk about most anything, when the conversation demands.
You should message me if
You want to talk. I'm not looking for an immediate connection, but it would be cool to make some friends.
