My self-summary
Hi I'm Steve.

I'm here looking to expand my own social circle. Whether that's in the form of friendship, romance, or something in between, it's all good.

I'm a huge geek as I enjoy video games, board games (especially), science, and computers. I also love to explore the outdoors, such as parks and beaches. I am a big fan of nature, really.

I believe in the freedom of people to be who they want to be as long as it isn't hurting others. Who am I to tell people what they can and can't do?

ENFJ if you're into that.

Also if I've visited you a couple times with no message, it's because I'm nervous and shy about this stuff sometimes. I welcome all messages.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently completed a weight loss goal of losing 30 pounds before I'm 30. I'm still going, too, as I feel better than I have in years.

Working in I.T. doing database an application support. It's a good job and I enjoy it for the most part.

Outside of that I'm trying to expand my knowledge of all things and just enjoy my life as best I can.
I’m really good at
making people laugh. I can usually hone in on someone's sense of humor pretty quick.

I also have a great sense of direction. I go most places without a GPS.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, which sometimes are gray and sometimes deep, dark blue.

That I smile a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Of Mice and Men is my favorite by far. It is a nice book about friendship and came around at a critical point in my life.

Hiroshima is a great book too as it tells the tale of various people who survived the first atomic bomb ever used in warfare.

Movies: Good Night, and Good Luck is a great look into how journalism worked during the McCarthy "red scare" era. It's fantastically entertaining for reasons that don't usually come around in movies.

Punch-Drunk Love is the perfect love story to watch if you are socially awkward when it comes to relationships. It shows how to overcome your awkwardness and that someone will love you for who you are as long as you're willing to come out of your shell.

The Fifth Element is a fantastic movie with the proper blend of plot and action. The characters and acting are very well done and I could watch this one over and over. While it is sci-fi, it doesn't make a big deal about that with fancy computer screens, hacking, or any bull crap you might see in other movies.

Music: Ben Folds is by far my favorite artist. Every song is one I could listen to many, many times. It always resonates with me somehow. His music also helped bring my wife and I together.

Food: If it tastes decent, I eat it. A FAVORITE though is peanut butter. It's so good.

Video Games: Too many to list here. I'm big into PC gaming.

Board Games: Ticket to Ride, Qwirkle, Carcassonne, Star Realms, Dominion, Descent: Journeys in the Dark, and so many more.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life. Everything about it. Why things happen, what consequences they cause, among other things. My mind never stops.
On a typical Friday night I am
Finding friends to hang out with. It doesn't matter what we do as long as we're all having fun doing it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like girls in green. I don't know why. I'm also a sucker for glasses and by extension, nice eyes.
