I am not so much an outdoor person, but who can beat the redwoods or the ocean for inspiration and peace? I've lived in Austin and San Francisco before moving to the East Coast: Ithaca, NY. I am thrilled to be back in the Bay Area! I'm overtly excited about finally getting affordable senior housing ~ now, just hoping I fit in the space.... it is smaller than what I have at the moment and being a collector, artist and creator, I'm a bit worried that my STUFF will overtake the living space!
I'm a big woman with a lot of class. I love beautiful clothes and I'm nuts about lingerie....it leaves a lot to the imagination! Once had a BLT Party (Black Tie, Lingerie or Toga)! You just wouldn't believe what people will wear in public! Plus I scored a literally unknown talent to provide the music for my party......Alejandro Escovedo. I'd love to meet up with him again and ask if he remembers the crazy broad in the black bustier at that party back in Austin, TX!
I have a compassionate, caring side, and spend much of my time/ life working for peace and justice....this is everything from feeding the hungry to working with the homeless, advocating for equal rights for low income people and women. I am very left of center.
I prefer dogs, but do not currently have one, prefer chocolate to any other decadent treat, and hotels over camping.
I'm completely baffled by "chemistry" ~ I'm open to everyone because I just don't know who will have that certain je ne sais quoi that relates directly to chemistry. Humor is on the list; I know that I like to laugh. You'll have to be your own judge.
I also have begun to realize that I'd like to meet someone entrepreneurial by nature...... life is ongoing and I would love to connect with a person with similar interests to keep moving, exploring, producing and looking for yet one more artistic challenge!
Favorite Movies: Pretty Woman, Fences, Manchester by the Sea
Favorite Show on Television: I love any good story! This is Us, How to Get Away with Murder, Scandal, The Good Wife and Steve Harvey are also thought provoking, complicated and fun. Downton Abbey, Charlie Rose. My least favorites are jazz & Nashville Country.......although there are exceptions to every rule, like Latin Jazz and Texas "Country" if you can call it that......Lyle Lovett, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Willie; it's hard to have lived in Austin and not like the music scene. Always at the top of the list are The Beatles.
Favorite Food: This is hard because I'm going through a period where nothing sounds or really tastes that great. I do eat meat but I'm trying to wean myself off of it and be more Vegetarian. After living in Austin for so many years, I can always fall back on Tex-Mex or, even better, Mexican Cuisine!
