My self-summary
Not really interested in rushing into a romantic relationship, primarily just looking for friends. I have, 'however', no objection if it should seem natural for a friendship to evolve into something more.
Searching for a warm, loving, intellectual that has possibly been through an abusive childhood/history herself.
Pros | Passionate, compassionate, creative, wacky, affectionate, intellectual.
Cons | Bit of a perfectionist, procrastinator, shy.
I Love | Playing with my daughter, music, animals, nature, hiking, biking, travel, road trips, the ocean, cooking, anything creative, landscaping, gardening, boating, water, interesting conversation.
I'm an Introvert | Contrary to popular perception, it doesn't imply one's predisposed to brooding. I'm generally pretty buoyant, just need me time. Helpful link | MRI's... "reveal that introverts process information differently..." How many? A rough estimate is 25% of the population. "Extroverts are energized by people, and wilt or fade when alone... In contrast after an hour or two of socializing Introverts need to turn off and recharge."
Occupation | Graphic Design
School | Some college, actually a lot of college, no degrees. Was a physics and math geek so if your a little poin-dextrous that's a plus!
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
Bar-B-Que & a mean pork pastor!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm comfortable with that fact that I'm somewhat far removed from the Norm. I endured an abusive childhood, struggled, eventually drove most of the skeletons out of the closet. I'm convinced, the benefits of abuse, while few, include a more empathetic understanding of others and the general realization that nothing, tragic or otherwise, is all that long a walk away.
I'm analytical. Was obsessed withOriental thinking in my teens and twenties, if nothing else, it provided a vantage point from which to view our own cultures perceptions, idiosyncracy... (Western Determinism!)
Lost in translation! Misunderstandings frequently occur even on a personal, one to one, individual level. With differing cultures, particularly when isolated to whatever extent, by time and geography... people don't think the same way. A rough translation of terms, simply put, cannot convey perceptions, abstractions, that manifest from what I can only poorly describe as differing conceptual methodologies, methodologies that may not exist in another culture, either entirely or more naturally only to some limited extent. A member of the distant culture, subsequently has limited familiarity, practice and sophistication with such terms. It's still a source of considerable fascination.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
At the moment, what has to be the single most enigmatic lyric in the history of pop music. "Shidda didda bit a pip, aah. Shidda didda bit a pip, aah. You should be dancin' yeah!"
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, not busy, vegetating, working...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once hid a small dry compact poop under the sofa {age 3} rather than going to the bathroom and miss the end of "The Friendly Giant", "Lost in Space"... or something to that effect! When questioned by my Grandmother a couple of weeks later I hadn't the slightest idea how it had gotten there. The list of suspects was relatively small and included my Mother and Grandfather? Never-the-less the crime officially remains unsolved.
I like tap dancing to erratic jazz rhythms, but oddly, no one seems to appreciate it.
