My self-summary
I'm on here to meet people who have some shared interests and go from there.

I grew up and was schooled in the Midwest, moved to the SF Bay Area as an Environmental AmeriCorps member, stayed 11 years, and have been in Seattle for the last 3 years.

I value recycling or reusing over new, organic over conventional, fragrance free over scented, casual over dressy, natural over artificial, flats over high-heels, quiet over loud, and genuine over superficial.

Spirituality and environmental sustainability are very important to me and I consider myself a seeker. I dance for universal peace and need time in nature on a regular basis to reconnect. I also meditate and am starting to explore energy healing as a powerful force for healthy living.

I enjoy walking, swimming, canoeing, and hiking. Snowshoeing is on the list too, but I'm chicken to drive in the mountains when there's snow. Maybe you have 4-wheel drive?

I tend towards quiet and small gatherings. I do 12-step work and am constantly growing and changing in amazing ways as a result.

Teaching is a way for me to constantly apply what I am learning and how I am growing to help improve the lives of the students I work with.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Healing, why we haven't adopted more environmentally friendly lifestyles and how I can be a part of changing that, if other countries have homeless people like the US, starting a school garden where I teach, how to teach things, if I should stay in Seattle or move somewhere where I can hike from my backyard, where I should volunteer, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually relaxing on Friday night. Teaching 6-year-olds all week requires a lot of energy...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't make my bed every day.
You should message me if
We have some things in common! Bonus if you're taller than me :)
