My self-summary
I' Most of the time, anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm married, and happy with that. Relationships come in many shapes and forms, which is something I'd love to talk about with you. Here, I'm looking for friends, or rather, a little bit more than friends. How much more naturally depends on you, and on geography. I'm very open-minded, and prefer to get to know people who also have few reservations.
I’m really good at
I suppose I'm expected to say "Guess you'll have to find out for yourself" or the equivalent here.

Objectively speaking though, I'm good at a fair few things, most of which will be of no interest to potential friends here. So what can I do, that would interest you? I guess I do really have a few skills that you might enjoy but which I will leave to your imagination. Oh and I can brew some pretty nice beer.

Some people here write long accounts of their intellectual merits, but I don't find that very interesting, to be honest. I also have my degrees and I use them in my work. Perhaps you find history an interesting subject for discussion, otherwise you have no real reason to care.

I write stories, that's also something I know how to do. Sometimes erotic ones. I don't usually make them public, but maybe I'll share some.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is probably my beautiful, sliken-soft, tiger-striped fur and tail.

Come on, I don't know! Silly question.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Are people really interested in this?

Well, I read mostly history books and historical themed literature. Bernard Cornwell is great; so is Ken Follett.

It appears to be common practice here to namedrop as many high-brow literary works as possible, but I don't think that's necessary. The meaning and intellectual content of a book only comes into existence in the meeting of book and reader, therefore it is possible to say that at one level, Sartre and Harry Potter are really no different.

I used to be really into Kafka, I still like his works, but at one point I realized I wasn't reading Kafka, I was becoming him, which is...kind of not so good.

I rarely watch TV and it's been a while since I've seen a good movie. For preferences, see the section on books.

Music: Lots of things. If it's on a current hit chart of some kind, then probably it's not my pick.

Food: I cook, and I'm good at it. But I'm strange. I like Central European food. No one except me who isn't from somewhere in Central Europe seems to like that.
The six things I could never do without
A good pint of beer, a good book and a good wench in hand. In that order.

Three more things? A bed I suppose, food maybe. And a forest. Everybody needs a forest.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Alpha acid content and colour prediction. Power relations and social structures in medieval England. How cool it must have been to be Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't have much time to go out anymore. Maybe I'm chatting. Maybe you can catch me here, if you're interested.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I believe I have already given you one piece of information which is more private than most of what I have seen in here.

After visiting certain well-known cliffs in Ireland, I've discovered I may have something like vertigo in me.
You should message me if would like a friend or a chatmate with both a brain and a very active pair of balls, with the effects on my imagination and preferences pursuant from this fact.

--- do not judge people, regardless, but try to understand them. appreciate irony. are at least slightly kinky of mind. are a clever and sensible, yet somewhat insane person are looking for a close friend. think that 'dirty' talk, or even physical sex, between friends is a good idea. wouldn't mind meeting in person, but also wouldn't mind an online friendship/relationship. do not invoke stereotypes when encountering people here. have strong opinions, no matter if you agree with or not. enjoy discussing them. do not get offended by the opinions of others, or by any reasonable argument as part of a discussion.
