My self-summary
Im enthusiastic -i ike just about everything, exploring anything new, travel, art, climbing around the river, onto abandoned factories, volunteering when I can, smiling at strangers, reading old books, music in general, swimming, biking.... Making lists? I'm definitely a bit disorganized, always working on improving, that and everything. I'm funny, smart, and stick out:)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a union electrician,(just took a leave of absence so i can take a big trip later this year, so i'm figuring out where my stuff will go, visas, languages, routes, expenses, travelling buddies and how to connect it all... i want to make a 'tumblr' for all the animals..and humans i'll see, I make art, (illustrated in the past) but i'm really interested now in music, trying to find a warm state to move to eventually! And I explore my surroundings a lot, ditto for examining myself. renewing my passport, bracing myself for winter... making bad sentences and loving it...
I’m really good at
Keeping my word, keeping enthusiastic, conquering fears, trivia? I'm especially good at at being better than average at a wide variety of things.... I was always into the whole "renaissance man" ideal, and I think people today can tend to hyper-focus on things that really don't mean much in the scheme of their own lives. We're not robots! Let them do the repetitive work! :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My energy, my strange, strange mix of influences & interests... My friendliness/manners. And of course my rugged good looks, tall, fit body, and cat-like grace!^D (apparently my manners suck according to my score thing, but that's not usually true at all. i think i can tend towards the overly-polite if anything) i was joking about the graceful part and they let that slide:(i have a lot to say, and a lot to ask!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Dont have favorites.. i find more than 1000 lifetimes worth thrown out by the used bookstores. Was really into dostoevsky/russian lit in general in junior high/high school, esp. "C&P". old sci-fi, how-to's, I've seen few movies lately, the Wes Anderson One was good... Umm yeah, someone should take me to a movie!
The six things I could never do without
1 love
2 close friends/family
3 will
4 novelty(in the positive sense)
5learning
6 "nature"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my lucky turn of fate, the chance to travel, and how to make something good from it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing whatever is clever- generally going out, particularly since I'm single and I work early during the week. Don't mind staying in If there's a special someone there with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
my apt is shamefully(now less) messy. pretty lame eh? i am really, actually, kind of embarrassed by it, so i give myself a pat on back for sharing... and i just tested out my russian last week... not quite up to "o.k" standards right now!(currently improving apt. and russian!! slooowly:)
You should message me if
you want to, you have teeth, etc... you're an open, adventurous type with varied interests, or a cuddly lil sweetheart.. i really click with pretty random people.
