My self-summary
I've always thought of myself as an entertainer. Wherever I am, I love making people happy. I work as a video game programmer, and love cracking jokes at parties. I love to sing, act, and dance, and have done all three both professionally and for fun. I watch comedy in all its forms, and and am an avid board gamer. Oh, and I'm a feminist. Apparently that's something some people aren't.

Fun facts about me:

I've had jobs performing musical theater in the past.
I'm from North Dakota.
I went to a weird international school, where I lived in a castle.
I've been learning to swing dance lately. It's fantastic.
Oh, and climbing. I try to go a few times a week. Also fantastic.
What I’m doing with my life
Making video games, and loving it. My work is great, I get to be creative and solve problems all day long. I take a lot of pride in my work, and while the hours can be long, it's great to have a better game at the end of the day for people to enjoy.
I’m really good at
Being wonderful (wonderful and ridiculous are the same thing, right?)
Scathing wit
The first things people usually notice about me
My big mouth. If you can't stand constantly cracking jokes, I'm not for you. Otherwise, I'm good at making people laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As far as my tastes are concerned, they're eclectic. (I know, everybody says that, right?) In music, I love anyone that's a stellar singer. Be that Ella Fitzgerald, Sara Bareilles, James Brown, the Beatles, or Bruno Mars, I like them all. A danceable bass is great and all, but give me the singer that can belt it out any day. I love just about all the new dramatic TV that's been so great, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, etc. Lately, I've been doing a lot of fantasy novels, but I also read a lot of comedy and non-fiction. Favorites include David Sedaris, American Gods, Malcolm Gladwell's books, John Hodgman's various collections of world knowledge.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical? Probably something with coworkers. Drinks, karaoke, and climbing tend to be the popular ones these days, I suppose. Or going home to relax, if we're talking a particularly stressful week.
You should message me if
If you want to. Being coy is overrated. I dare you.
