My self-summary
Online dating, 2.0. I have finally decided to give online dating another shot. It wasn't a bad experience before, just stopped. Ok, now about me I guess. I'm a theatre guy who likes a night out dancing just as much as a night in making food with a special someone and cuddling up for a movie. Now living in Chicago, I like to experience the different neighborhoods of the city. On any given night you could find me out with friends, knocking back a few over good laughs or a fun board game.
What I’m doing with my life
My days are filled with marketing a performing arts center as well as the acts presented within its walls. I am a big theatre guy and can find myself working many hours in theatre, and never getting tired of it.
I’m really good at
- lists
- friendships
- details
- being outgoing
- listening
- kissing (a bit cocky to write this, I know, but heck, why not)
- over using commas
- watching movies
- speaking Italian
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a very fun, outgoing, genuine guy. I like to have a good time. I like people around me to have a good time. If music is playing, I will likely mention that I like most of the songs. If I am out on the dance floor, you can put money on my goofy dances making people laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: True Notebooks by Mark Salzman; To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee; Native Son by Richard Wright; Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer; Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst.

Movies: The Breakfast Club; Love Actually; The Little Rascals; Waiting for Guffman; Clue; Back to the Future trilogy; The UP Series

Shows: The Carol Burnett Show; The Big Bang Theory; The Office; Modern Family; Raising Hope; Slings and Arrows;

Music: I like most music. I like to listen to pretty mainstream stuff as well Italian music. To list a few: (this will probably scare some people off...) Barenaked Ladies; They Might Be Giants; Neil Diamond; Billy Joel.

Food: Thai; sushi; Italian; trying new stuff

Games: Clue; Tetris; Jenga; Scrabble; charades; scopa (ask me what this is)
The six things I could never do without
Good theatre
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food. I like going out and trying new restaurants around the city. If someone mentions an area, I will almost always reference a place that I have eaten within walking distance. I come from a big Italian family, so obviously I love italian cuisine. However, on any given night, I can almost always be convinced to eat Thai or sushi.
On a typical Friday night I am
unwinding from the work week with some tv, still at work for a show, or on my way to dinner with friends. All these things are a satifying way to spend a Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like vegging out after work more than i used to. I'd like to go out more and meet more people.
You should message me if
you have the nerve to make the first move. I'm not too proud to be approached, and I like a woman who can do just that. You should also message me if you are even remotely curious about me. I like meeting new people and having a good time.
