My self-summary
I'm a strange mix of pragmatic and spontaneous. I've had the luxury of touring internationally with a band I started, and I also have a job that I love, completely detached from the music industry. A professional musician by way of a bachelors in Political Science, though I have yet to write a song about John Stuart Mill. I am cursed with super-active empathy. I contribute to NPR. Sometimes I daydream about being a stand-up comedian.

I could probably eat pizza every day for the rest of my life and be content.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to find humor in every situation, bottling them into anecdotes to bring to parties... making advertisements... perfecting Coq au Vin... writing songs
I’m really good at
Embarrassing myself for the greater good, coming up with poignant analogies, mixing metaphors, and citing statistics. also, kissing, apparently, as this has been focus-grouped.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have curly hair and I talk with my hands, so naturally strangers ask me for directions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Jonathan Franzen, David Sedaris, William Gibson.

Movies/TV: Geek Stuff, Nerd Stuff, Horror, Zombies, Anti-heros.

Music:, 90's Indie, 60's, British Invasion, Pulp, Classical.

Food: All of it, especially Pizza in any and all forms.
Six things I could never do without
The Internet
The Scientific Method
Ear drums
Some sort of musical instrument
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether or not the universe is infinite, and the potential hilarious implications of such; what kind of cuisine will I tackle next; potential future lyrics; how I would survive a zombie apocalypse (hint: treadmills.)
On a typical Friday night I am
...not ashamed to admit I like to stay in and watch a movie. Or go out and play with friends. But oftentimes I cook something that takes 5-6 hours.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was in third grade, I was personally responsible for Ross Perot winning our elementary school mock election.

...and I know a thing or two about safe-words.
