******Note: I will say this, if you are a smoker and have tattoos or face piercings (Aside from regular ear piercings), we will not get along. I prefer that the person that I will be investing time with not have a smoking addiction and has not marked their body with art. While I can appreciate body art and piercings, I have not marked my body and do not have any piercings, and personally prefer the same. The same can be said if you do not have your life together, meaning a career, transportation, your own place to live and know who you are as an individual.******
I am a well mannered, professional gentleman, going through a divorce after 4 years of marriage. I'm on here to make a friend first, to enjoy going out with and just seeking interaction and making new memories with an individual while getting acquainted.
I will be 33 in late October, I am a Scorpio and have many of the Male Scorpio traits. However, I do not have the negative characteristics of the Male Scorpio, as I am on the cusp with Libra traits. Currently I am enjoying life to the fullest, I am intense and have been described this way by my family, friends and many others. I am not found of small talk, but would rather have an in-depth conversation that is intriguing, captivates the mind and broadens your knowledge/ perspective.
I am close with my parents and family as they are a major part of my life. We get together regularly and have many extended family gatherings throughout the year. My parents regularly invite me out to dinner throughout the month. We also make regular trips out to Austin, TX to visit my sister. We often get together to eat on the bother side of town and meet up with my brother who live in League City.

I work with computers/ electronics and have a career in Information Technology, it is a passion for me. So technically, I get paid to work/play with computers. If you can get paid doing something you are passionate about, you will never work a day of your life.
I have a successful life, own my own house (wanted a house by 25, so I purchased a house by age 25), vehicle (currently have my 3rd financed vehicle - 2013 Chevy Avalanche TX Edition), and have luxuries in my life I have worked hard to acquire. I have a lot of knowledge, but will never claim to know everything. I strive to learn and improve myself each day so that I am a better man than the previous day.
I am also passionate about being outdoors, love to go camping, kayaking, hiking and exploring new activities. If you are interested in going out on a hike, hitting the lake or bayou trail to go kayaking, let's get together and enjoy a day outdoors. Or if you would like to get together at a Wine Lounge and enjoy a nice glass together while have an intellectual conversation, please let me know and let’s schedule something soon. Don't be afraid to send me a message.
I am a strong willed, hardworking, dedicated man. Usually when not working I'm spending time at church, lodge, or spending time with friends and family. I enjoy going out camping, hiking, kayaking or fishing and sometimes I am playing Xbox 360, though I have not played my console since before April 2016. I spend a lot of time with my dog, he's also my best friend and will always be my puppy dog. He's 7 and a half years old and 86 pounds, he's a Pit/ Great Dane mix. He's a great big lovable puppy.
I enjoy taking road trips out to Austin, San Antonio, Burleson, Bryan/ College Station, Galveston and all other places around Texas. I visit my friends in these locations around Texas. I also travel to Lafayette, LA and Little Rock, AR at least twice a quarter for work. My company has a plant in both locations and since I work in IT, we usually make a visit to show our presence physically and help out as we can while there.
Last time I was in Little Rock, AR (July 2015) I got to climb Pinnacle Mountain (1051 ft.). Love it and was a great new memory that I hope to do again on my next trip up there. This was my first mountain that I climbed by myself. In fact two of my profile pictures are from when I was at the bottom pointing to the top and then at the top pointing to the bottom. Was a great memory that I got to enjoy and looking forward to my trip in late summer/ fall of 2017 to hike the JMT with my brother.
I am at a place in my life where peace is priority and negativity cannot exist. You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple. You take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.
A great statement that I live my life by and values that I was raised with by my parents:
“When I give, it does not come with strings. I’m not keeping track of what you owe me. When I give, I choose to do so without ulterior motives. I give because I’m genuine. I give because I know what it’s like to be without. To long for and be ignored. To speak and not be heard. To care for and have nothing returned. When I give it’s because I get it. It’s because I know the value in what I have in my heart and I refuse to let the world stop me from sharing that. But when things start being taken for granted. When you longer appreciate my sincerity. I won’t switch, I won’t get angry, and I won’t be spiteful. I’ll just get smart and I’ll change your role in my life. Because when I give, I’m all in. But when I’m done, there’s no looking back.”
I am very successful at keeping my cool in challenging situations, rarely will I ever get upset. Instead I get quite and calm, my mind kicks into high gear and becomes very analytical. It can be a very dangerous times when I get quite, but nonetheless, I am one that would rather communicate to understand the root cause of an issue and problem to better analyze the dilemma and resolve the situation so that it does not happen again.
Fire Manipulation, I have been a performing artist manipulating fire, spinning poi, eating fire and breathing fire for the past 13 years. I used to have a regular Fire-Tribe here in Houston, but many have move away to other cities, stopped performing and practicing or been too busy to get together regularly. I am, however, contacted for professional shows here I town when needed and usually contracted out to San Antonio to perform with a professional Tribe there throughout the year. I have performed at Canyon Lake Gorge for a professional banquet, the AlamoDome for the Monster Truck Rally, The Parade of Roses/ FlameBeaux Parade, had a regular Wednesday evening show at the Continental Club for over a year in a half, performed for the Art Car Ball, walked in the Thanksgiving day parade downtown, and many other places throughout my 13 professional years of manipulating fire.
I have been a Theme Camp Lead for my community and running a Communal Kitchen and Hookah Lounge for the last 12 years. I have been within my community for the last 13 years and am well known, highly respected and an invaluable asset to the volunteer structure and organization. We regularly support our community by giving back to the infrastructure of volunteers and are involved in much of the planning that it takes to do our various camping events throughout the year. If you are interested to know more, ask and I will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
I go out of my way to help people, "Chivalry is not DEAD!" Many people in today’s society do not know what chivalry is, or how to act accordingly, whether by their upbringing, conditioning or their influence from societal mannerisms.
1) The combination of qualities expected of an ideal knight, esp courage, honour, justice, and a readiness to help the weak
2) Courteous behaviour, esp towards women
3) The code of chivalry emphasized bravery, military skill, generosity in victory, piety, and courtesy to women.
4) An honorable and polite way of behaving especially toward women
5) Gallant or distinguished gentlemen
I am a romanticists, I enjoy being a gentleman, and usually bewilder women because they are not used to the proper methods of being chivalrous from a true gentleman. I enjoy the finer things in life, events that have a bit more class and involve an effort to be distinguished, reserved and require communication to stimulate the intellectual mind. Many times, I have been told that it is too good to be true, or that it is an act and they are waiting for the bottom to fall out, but I implore you that this is who I am. In turn the feelings, effort and actions should be reciprocated to continue the dance of acquaintanceship, getting better accustomed to one another and developing a mutual interaction with each other.
Actions speak louder than words, and I am a man of my word. I request that you be a woman of your word, have actions that match and will be put into action justifying and proving your involvement in the dance of relations.
Jesus Calling (Sarah Young)
I have been reading a Hunting Book to better prepare for this Hunting season.
Been reading articles on the JMT and through-hiking.
Books on marriage: Highly Happy Marriages, For Men Only, 7 Secrets to an Awesome Marriage
IT/ Computer and software related articles and books, to keep my skills set and knowledge up to date with the ever-evolving technology and advancements.
I like to watch a wide variety of genres.
Some of my favorite movies are the following:
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Where the Buffalo Roam
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
The Princess Bride
The Marvel movies.
I do not like watching TV, if anything I might start watching something on Netflix. Was upset when they took Dr. Who off of Netflix, I enjoyed watching the episodes regularly.
I enjoy most everything, have very few dislikes, but here are some of the tops that I have been listening to lately:
Nine Inch Nails
System of a Down
I am a healthy man (meaning that I am not skinny, but also not fat), I enjoy food and all types, though I am not particularly fond of Middle Eastern food. Specifically falafels or hummus - chickpea allergy, found that out recently. I am also allergic to Sesame Seeds in large quantities, and there is something in the preservatives of Pace brand Picante sauce that makes me break out as well. However, I love to eat Italian food, have a big fondness of real Ramen and have been going to several Ramen Shops around Houston, and true authentic Mexican food (not Tex-Mex).
Family (Immediate family, close friends, and puppy dogs)
Survival Items (Air, water, food, shelter, warmth)
Respectively, if I like you and your profile, I will send you a message. I can promise you that.
