I like to think I'm a pretty typical snake person. I grew up in Connecticut with a stable middle class family life. I went to a 4 year college that I probably shouldn't have been able to afford. I double majored in Film Studies and Philosophy - both of which I am passionate about, but neither of which really translated into a career.
I work for a tech startup because it makes me money and gives me a lot of headspace time to think for myself.
I listen to a lot of podcasts about everything from the Supreme Court to pen & paper gaming. I frequently dream of changing careers to journalism. Or at least writing a blog. Ultimately I've always wanted to make movies. I freelanced for a while but couldn't find enough work to sustain myself. I want to get back to doing that some day.
Ask me anything, I'm a great storyteller.
People tell me that when I'm in my 50s I'll enjoy this, but now its frustrating.
TV Shows and movies there are almost too many too list. I like Game of Thrones, Sherlock, New Girl, Community, Fringe, Orphan Black, Penny Dreadful, The Expanse. I watch a lot of the goofy CW superhero shows.
Message me if you want to get to know me or talk about the Mets.
