My self-summary
--While I am not resigned to the fact that it's not exactly easy to find love or friends, it's been difficult for these last half-dozen years. And ideally, I am looking for friends, if not something more. I'm a pretty humble person most of the time, but I really like to make others feel as though they are important, a fact that I stand behind in my actual thoughts. I can be a rather cynical person, and crass at times, speaking harshly. But what I generally say is a statement of fact and not a lie.
--Mostly I am relaxed, although I do like to get out and do things. I am a gamer, but given a choice between sitting and leveling a Shaman in World of Warcraft and finding true social interaction outside of my apartment, I would take the latter. I do not like to be in one place for extended periods and it makes the whole living without any roommates a little jarring at times.
--Striking up conversations is exceptionally easy for me, and as long as you have something to say back to me, I will likely be someone you would want to get to know, although that may just be me trying to inflate my importance a little. But I think it might be true, at the very least. And if I can make you laugh within the first 5 minutes of a face-to-face contact, then we're already off on the right foot.
--I would love to hear from anyone and everyone and am typically not picky about who I talk to. I'm looking for friends, love, chat, even just finding a buddy to just hang out with... frankly, I don't have a preference.

What I’m doing with my life
Working at a job I think is okay, but could do something more meaningful.
I’m really good at
Writing, reading, listening, and an assortment of other things. I'm good at getting mad, but only if something super unjust or poorly planned occurs. I like trying to fix injustice.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can make people laugh, and I can generally get one out of a person in short order. And I would like to think I am engaging in topical conversation, regardless. I love to listen.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I don't really read books anymore. Mostly news articles, scientific texts, and a few books on science or space. If I read, it is invariably science fiction.

Movies: Star Wars, anything from the Marvel/DC universe, Star Trek, Blade, Persona 3 series, and others. I don't get to see a lot.

Shows: Star Trek, Babylon 5, Fullmetal Alchemist, X-Files, other various anime, bit nothing terribly current. Don't watch a lot of TV. Mostly Youtube.

Music: Adult alternative, pop, rock, a little rap, many instrumental pieces, video game music, orchestral.

Food: Pie, cheese, tea, pasta, Asian cuisine, exotic weird foods, steak, burgers, Italian food., and only homemade Mexican... because I really don't like it anyway.

Video Games: Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Fatal Frame, Mortal Kombat, Persona, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Star Trek Online, World of Warcraft, Bravely Default, Pokemon, and many others.

I watch a lot of Youtube series. It is essentially my version of TV.
Six things I could never do without
Satin clothes, fleece blankets, making inappropriate or mistimed jokes, my little sister, cats, and a brain to regulate major body functions.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to go, what to do, who I've left behind and how I can fix my current problems.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, actually. Third shift without weekends isn't super fun, but I have ways of working around such an abysmal arrangement.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't regret anything or hide my life. I am a flawed creature who is perfectly capable of messing up even the simplest of things.
You should message me if
... well, let us be realistic. You won't do that. This site has a massive imbalance of men to women. I don't get messages. And two of every three I send aren't responded to. I'm not complaining, just stating a fact. If you want to talk, take that bold step and message me first. I reply to every single one, and with more than just a "Hi!".
The two of us
