My self-summary
Fit as a fiddle in my thighs, ass and middle.

One thing that bugs me about online dating is that a girl will initiate a chat with something like "Hello"; and then when I try to keep the conversation going, she only gives one-word answers. She gives me nothing to work with. I try to keep things building (or at least rolling) by asking her a lot of questions only to get more brief responses and eventually either I run out of ideas for questions and the whole transaction is a waste of time and goes nowhere, or she thinks I'm a creepy stalker because I'm asking her all these questions. There needs to be some sort of conversational basis in order to ask someone out on a date. Please actively engage and contribute to the conversation. Make an effort. I can never tell whether the girl has lost interest or not when she only gives minimal responses. I like women. I do not like to pester women. They already put up with so much unwanted attention in their day-to-day lives.

Another thing is that there are so many scam-bots out there that I need to first figure out whether the girl is an actual local person and not someone trying to sell me something or rip me off somehow.

I'm a fairly happy and content person. I'm perfectly happy being single.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a field engineer for Diebold. I install and remove ATMs, take them all apart and put them back together again. Load and update software. Keep them connected to the network. Everything ATM. I work all over the central Texas region with various bank people. I like my job a lot. Every day is new and unpredictable and I'm always learning. Out and about and not stuck in an office.

No kids. Never been married.
I’m really good at
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I really love reading people's true accounts of encounters with ghosts and the paranormal.

I don't really listen to music. Don't watch TV or see movies.

I've played in a lot of bands through the years.

When I get off work, I'll typically open the iPad and browse through the news, then maybe read a long piece like something from The Atlantic. Then I'll look for some ghost stories and end it all by looking at the dank memes of the day. By then, I can't keep my eyes open and I go to sleep. That's my typical evening after work.
Six things I could never do without
iPad mini. Pistachios. Ear plugs. Vivarin. My awesome bed. Those are some.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Quite frankly, I don't give a shit about the way I look. I look like what I do.

I guess I think a lot. I drive around all day and never have the radio on. I have a lot of internal dialogue.
You should message me if
I'm a very nice, kind, sweet, generous, considerate person. Congenial, conversational, have no weird hang-ups. I love who I am and what I do. I'm not a douche-bag and I don't scare women. I don't put on any aires. If you were to meet me it would just be casual, straight-forward and honest. I have professional relationships, and I think I would be described as likeable, easy-going, informal, cooperative and humorous.
