My self-summary
I'm a very empathetic and kind person. I value sound reasoning and kindness above all. I'm a great supporter of personal freedoms. If you aren't hurting me or anyone else in any way, I probably support what you're doing with your life.

I like and work with both dogs and cats in general, but I especially like big dogs.

I'm naturally pretty slim, but I walk dogs most days and I enjoy playing Volleyball or Tennis in the summer.

The main deal breakers for me are if you're anti-gay (my best friend is gay), if you're racist, if you're anti-420, or if you're a very judgmental person.
What I’m doing with my life
I live in my grandfather's house. He raised me since I was about 9, and now that he's getting too old to take care of himself I feel responsible for him. At the same time I've always dreamed of moving to Seattle or another place with beautiful scenery and more liberal laws, but between moving and continuing my education I need to save a lot of money first.

I recently got promoted to Team Leader at Pampered Pets Services, and I also walk/feed dogs most weekdays.

I'm currently taking a break from college in order to get my finances settled, but hope to continue my education, most likely at Northern Illinois.
I’m really good at
Writing, video games, considering issues from multiple perspectives, listening, understanding broad concepts (particularly moral, philosophical, biological, and psychological concepts).
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, then my hair or eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Lately I've been rereading A Song of Ice and Fire, currently between the third and fourth novels.
For nonfiction I've read The Moral Landscape by Sam Harris, God Is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens, The Believing Brain by Michael Shermer, The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined by Steven Pinker, and American Theocracy by Kevin Phillips. I would recommend any of those books to anyone who enjoys broadening their horizons.
I also enjoy fantasy series, including Lord of the Rings, ASOIAF, and Harry Potter.

For TV, I like Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory, South Park, Archer, Futurama, Parks and Recreations, The Originals, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, New Girl, Sons of Anarchy, and That 70s Show.

My favorite movies are The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Let Me In, Inception, and The Dark Knight.

I LOVE Panic! At the Disco, Paramore, Modest Mouse, Streetlight Manifesto, Hozier, Lights, Purity Ring, The All-American Rejects, The Griswolds, Taking Back Sunday, Chvrches, AM Taxi, Bright Eyes, Tonight Alive, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, Brand New, The Killers, Silverstein, Eyes Set to Kill, and All Time Low.
I could probably live on nothing but pasta.
Six things I could never do without
Paper for writing and drawing
Hot showers
Books and/or manga
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ideas for a book. Ideas for video games. Morality. Romance. Money. Mythology.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either relaxing at home, hanging with my little brother, eating with friends, or at the bar with my cousins.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I ever have a daughter I want to name her Callie.
You should message me if
You read my profile and don't care about height.
