My self-summary
Opossumtoes, if you're out there, I am sad that you disappeared. You are a true kindred spirit. I hope you are well! :)

**Update 9/11/16**
I suppose I feel obligated to notify any and all that may decide to peruse this profile of the following(Warning: Thar be RED FLAGS APLENTY):

-I'm currently going through a lot of purposeful life changes. I had become complacent in assuming I was a good person and it led to me failing miserably in even my own eyes and I am trying to be a better person every day. That being said, I don't know who I'll be tomorrow, much less a year from now. All I know is that I want to be a better, more empathetic, caring and less rigid human being.

-I still love someone else and I'm not sure that I'll ever stop. But I am fairly certain that she will never love me in the same capacity. I come here from time to time in hopes of distracting myself and the hope that maybe I'm wrong. However I have the nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I may never be able to put forth the same effort for another human being; And I feel that it would be unfair to deprive another woman of being appreciated in the capacity that she should. Again, I hope I am wrong. (Have you ever met someone who, in your first encounter, caused the overwhelming feeling that you'd lived 10 amazing lifetimes together and then felt the relief of having finally found them in this one? I did.)

-In conjunction with my previous points about being a better person, I believe in seeking truth regardless of where it lies, which currently is leading to the possibility of converting to Catholicism--I have a lot of crow to eat regarding that one lol. I grew up Church of Christ and if you're familiar at all with either organization, you know they are incongruent. Having said that, I feel it's best that I attempt to seek out a partner that is similarly in a state of working to be a better person while being open minded and perhaps going through that journey together could yield something far superior to my current ideas of what a relationship should be.

So, I suppose I say all that to say this: RUN lol. No, honestly, I'd probably make an amazing friend for the time being, but that's all I can, if I'm honest, assure you.

**Back to the old profile we go**

I know that the quickest way into a woman's heart is through knowledge of The Golden Girls.

If nothing else, give me a good book suggestion.

I recently found out that my personality type is INTJ, which explains a lot.

I have insatiable wanderlust.

I want to be a hero.

I live every week like "shark week" just like Tracy Morgan told me to.

I have a mortar and pestile....and I use it!

in my life thus far I have seen the Rocky Mountains, The Catskills, Mount Hood, The Mighty Mississippi, Lambeau field, Stonehenge, The Eiffel Tower, A Gutenberg Bible, Parliament(the band and the place in London), the Painted Desert, the Comanche Grasslands, the original copy of the Beatles' "Yesterday", The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty (in NY and Paris), Loch Ness, Ancient Roman Ruins, The Lincoln/vietnam/Korean memorial, Gettysburg, Shiloh, Westminster Abbey, The Breaker House, The Rosetta Stone, Ancient Pompeiian coins and artifacts, The Arc De Triump, The Stone of Destiny, The Crown Jewels of Scotland, The Space Needle, An Inukshuk, Hale Bopp, The Highlands, The London Eye, The Ryman Auditorium, Broadway, Amish people, the Liberty Bell (and historic Philadelphia), volcanic ash encased people, castle ruins of my ancestors' homeland, the quaintest towns and the largest cities and so many significant artifacts under glass that I cannot begin to list......I intend for this list to grow exponentially so that no one person may say that Jarrod Walker missed out on his life. Nay, they shall say that I refused to let my life culminate into a bog of disinterest and anti-climax........
What I’m doing with my life
Currently reading: "Alexander Hamilton" by Ron Chernow

"Kitchen Confidential" by Anthony Bourdain(Finished. Loved it!)

Time to update...School is still on the horizon, but I couldn't afford it this semester even with student loans, so I have taken a job on the road in hopes to save enough money to get through the rest of college without worrying haha. If I could offer any advice...if you have kids, SAVE FOR THEIR COLLEGE!
I’m really good at
Cooking, singing, guitar, listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, hair and size.

I am the brute squad
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read mostly non-fiction, so my favorite book is probably "The Conquest of Gaul" by Julius Caesar. But, I've gotten into Stephen King a good deal lately..."The Stand" and "Dolores Claiborne" are personal favorites.

So far as movies go, I don't think I could choose just one. I love movies and probably spend more money on them than I should haha. I enjoy most every kind of movie, but I really like pixar movies; However, since I have no children it's hard to see those in the theater because I don't want to be the creepy guy in the back of the theater without kids haha.

Music: I love all sorts of course, but as of late I really enjoy listening to Blues Traveler and Gaelic Storm. It's pretty upbeat music which helps balance the alternative music that my band plays.

Food: I love it all! But so far as cooking goes, I'm really good at Italian and Barbecue
The six things I could never do without
Singing
Guitar
iPod (Listen to Hardcore History podcast!)
Laptop
Risk (the boardgame)
Passport
Cholula hot sauce
Sofrito
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm a Pisces, so I daydream a lot haha.

The secrets of the pineal gland

Seeking truth regardless of its location

Book/skit ideas

Thinking of new forms of energy harnessing

The universe/multiverse

I think a lot about women, building a log cabin by myself, the future, my future with the aforementioned women, family life, and traveling.....usual stuff I suppose.
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing guitar by a bonfire at a friend's house, listening to live music somewhere, or just having a good night in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never been to a stripclub and never will, but I'm the kind of guy/sucker that would fall in love and be like "let me take you away from this life!" Haha

Redheads are my kryptonite.

Also,I used to talk in my sleep a lot. I once called a turkey in my sleep until a friend woke me....violently :)
You should message me if
