My self-summary
Born and raised in Colorado. I'm avid lucid dreamer and Zen Buddhist. I love getting to know people whether or not I agree with everything they do. Every encounter is a chance to learn more about the world and further define who I am. I love improving myself, from meditating to reading to learning a new instrument. I appreciate the small things in life and try my best to live in the moment without attachment to the future or past. I enjoy feeling of the sun on my face, especially early in the morning, the incoherent babble of nearby stream when camping, and the smell of a summer's barbeque.
What I’m doing with my life
Livin the dream really. I make good money at a tough but rewarding job. Soon I will be moving from my downtown apartment to a suburban home with my bestfriends and a couple of dogs. I recently started going to school again actually love it this time around. I think people forget how satisfying it is to be challenged intellectually.
I’m really good at
Looking people in the eye when they talk to me. I'm a great listener and I don't judge people. I get along with almost every animal I've ever met. I can a get a kite in the air faster than you can say "Benjamin Franklin". I can cook, or at the very least, I can follow directions really well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a man of few words.
Six things I could never do without
An intelligent conversation that leads to a change in perception and/or a better understanding of yourself. The high you get from hiking a steep mountain or playing tennis all afternoon in the hot sun or running til your body aches or facing your fears. The warmth of a cuddle, a good fire and a cup of hot chocolate when its cold outside. The soothing sound of a rainstorm while your trying to fall asleep. The excitement you get when you first fall in love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The serenity that comes with not thinking about anything. Tarot, astrology, and energy. Love, past, present and future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Rock Climbing at an indoor gym, grabbing some drinks with friends, staying home and reading a book or binge watching Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
seems like a riddle. How can it be private if you tell it to random strangers online?
You should message me if
You know a good place for group meditation nearby.
You need someone to talk to.
Anything in my profile was interesting.
A date would be nice, a coffee date, a dinner date, a picnic date. Even if we don't have a romantic connection dates are fun and exciting and sometimes scary and awkward but usually rewarding in some way.
