My self-summary
Graphic designer/photographer doing the responsible thing and working for our area's largest employer. I enjoy traveling, adventures big and small, science fiction/fantasy/comics, politics, basketball, art installations, a wide range of music, and learning tidbits of random things.

I've been in both monogamous and polyamorous relationships. Open to either, as long as the connection is real.
I’m really good at
I like to think of myself as a pretty decent photographer. Also I take pride in where I'm at now, vs what I was born into. Annnnnnnd I make a good cookie, apparently.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm basically all news and comics these days. NPR/Reuters/AP for news. Not always caught up, but enjoy: Walking Dead, Invincible, Y The Last Man, Ultimate Marvel... open to suggestions!

Movies: Amelie, Nightmare Before Christmas, Dark Knight Trilogy, Ex Machina, Eternal Sunshine, 9, Marvel, Inception, Shaun of the Dead, Interstellar and too many that I'm forgetting at the moment.

Shows: I don't have cable, so I tend to catch up on shows well after they run. Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Daredevil, Always Sunny, The League, Daily Show, Broadchurch, Orphan Black, Humans, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Californication, Penny Dreadful, HIMYM, Archer, Futurama, Westworld, Fringe, Black Mirror... (I may have abused Netflix a bit much)

Music: I fully admit it... I listen to 'lame' music. Most of the music I enjoy is rock from the 60s to late 80s. Outside of that I tend to just find random playlists on Spotify that fit my mood, and will range from electronic chill, to power metal.

Pink Floyd is my all time favorite band, since that's a common question.

Food: Generally a meat and potatoes sort of guy, but I also really enjoy fresh fruits, smoothies and the like. I'm low maintenance when it comes to food haha. My favorite food of all time is the California Burrito, San Diego style.
Six things I could never do without
Free time
Fresh air
Sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much I miss living on the west coast. Our broken lobbying and campaign finance systems (exciting, I know). Where to go next with my limited vacation hours.
On a typical Friday night I am
I prefer Saturday mornings to Friday nights. I tend to have pretty relaxed Friday nights, so I can go get breakfast some place nice, and take a walk, or go hiking on Saturday morning.
You should message me if
You don't take yourself too seriously, yet take your responsibilities seriously. You prefer 'Mario Kart and chill' over 'going out clubbing'. If my IG (@jasonhavenphoto) doesn't offend you. You enjoy hiking, and adventures big or small, nerdy things, the arts, or you just want to say hi.
