My self-summary
I am the Jawa Sandcrawler! I scour the wastes of Tatooine looking for droids to sell to poor moisture farmers. It's an honest profession.

I'm an easy going human, I like to laugh and hang out and try to remain in relaxed environments. I tend to have a sarcastic or goofy sense of humor, and love slapstick comedy. I hate how the internet is facilitating the demise of proper spelling and grammar.

I would be your typical nerdy guy. I enjoy reading, video games, science fiction media and the like. I suppose I can be stereotypically awkward, but that's not a trait that manifests itself often.

Despite my admitted nerdiness I also enjoy sports, typically of the collegiate variety. Football is by far my favorite, followed by basketball then baseball. It's always annoyed me when people root for teams that are nowhere near where they live/where they grew up; pick a team within your general vicinity dag nabbit! That said, go Reds!

I have a passion for history and cultures, specifically Asian cultures. To me the Asian stuff is just so exotic and alien from the typical western European view of the world that it warrants a lot of inspection. If I got my wish I'd be a diplomat somewhere and travel the globe working with other people.

Politically I'd define myself as a centrist. I like some ideas of fiscal conservatism, but certainly don't agree with many conservative social policies. One thing that's always peeved me is when people say "FDR solved the Great Depression with his social programs." While FDR's programs were a great benefit to the throngs of unemployed masses during the day that certainly didn't bring the nation out of the shadow of depression, this was due to the nation's involvement in the war.

One day I would like to be a space tourist, but unfortunately for me and my body mass my chest would very likely be crushed by the G force. Still, I have a very romantic (not like the flowers and champaign kind) view of being in the limitless black void of space and turning to see the mother of all life as we know it. Seriously, how awesome would that be?!
What I’m doing with my life
I've currently reenrolled in college and will be attempting to earn a bachelor's of the arts in history. Ideally I will then go on to earn a post-graduate degree and teach or profess or something.
I’m really good at
Cooing like a pigeon. It's a gift :)
The first things people usually notice about me

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I wouldn't say I spend A LOT of time thinking about it, but sometimes I wonder what silicon based life forms would look like? Would they be all crystallized like living mineral deposits? Would they be fleshy like animal life on Earth?

Odds are if I'm thinking of something a lot it will be something nerdy that most other folks won't spend much time pondering.
