New Yorker for 7 years, Baltimorean for 10+ years prior. Cancer survivor, writer, bartender, owner of the nicest cat in New York. I'm starting to travel more, eat better and enjoy life while I'm still here.
I live in Brooklyn, (Park Slope to be exact). My love affair with NYC comes and goes, every time I say I'm leaving something cool happens and I stick around.
I'm a big guy, I dress up nice, smell good, have old-fashioned manners and will give you a bear hug when you need one after a rough day. I'll make you laugh, send you emojis at work and cook for you.
I'm not a rapper, just to be clear.
Movies-- Dark Knight, Most Coen Brothers flicks, Boogie Nights, Big Trouble in Little China. Christopher Guest mockumenteries.
TV-- Parks and Rec, Sunny in Philadelphia, the Sopranos, Trailer Park Boys, Eastbound and Down, Flight of the Conchords and The Wire. (I'm clearly stuck in 2008)
Music-- 80's, Tribe, Portishead, Gorillaz, NWA, Live, Soundgarden, Old Dirty Bastard, Billy Joel and Biggie Smalls. I want "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega as my wedding song.
Food- I'm a sucker for BBQ and have been spotted at 5 Guys on occasion.
2. My cat Frenchy. I rescued him from a park in Brooklyn as a kitten. Inseparable ever since.
4. A fireplace, a comfy chair and a nap in the dead of winter.
5. Baseball in the summer, college basketball in the winter.
6. Having a bunch of old friends.
If you're voting for Trump or that idiot Ben Carson, don't bother.
Bonus points if you like college basketball, hockey or baseball.
