My self-summary
Long story short...

New Yorker for 7 years, Baltimorean for 10+ years prior. I'm starting to travel more, eat better and enjoy life. It would be nice to have someone to share some good times with.

I live in Brooklyn, (Park Slope). New York has been very good to me and while I don't know if I'll be here forever, it will always be thankful that I got to live here. That said...west coast is intriging.

I'm a big guy, I dress up nice, smell good, I have old-fashioned manners and will give you a bear hug when you need one after a rough day. I'll make you laugh, send you emojis at work and cook for you.
What I’m doing with my life
Living the dream and working day to day to make sure I'm living a good, honest life.
I’m really good at
80's song lyrics, getting great seats for concerts and sports and make a great old-fashioned & margarita.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty outgoing and can find common ground with just about anyone. It's hard these days with this Trump "silent majority" to figure out where someone stands. But, I'll listen to what these folks have to say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books-- Dennis Lehane novels, Presidential Biographies, Goodnight Moon.

Movies-- Dark Knight Trilogy, Most Coen Brothers flicks, Documentaries (Want to talk about Making a Murderer? Me too!)

TV-- Black Mirror, Larry Sanders, The Sopranos, Trailer Park Boys, Eastbound and Down, Flight of the Conchords and The Wire.

Music-- Kendrick Lamar, ATCQ, Portishead, Live (friends with them), Green Day and Biggie Smalls. .

Food- I'm a sucker for BBQ and have been spotted at 5 Guys on occasion.
Six things I could never do without
1. A moral code to live by. I'm by no means a bible thumper but a man has to have a code on what he will and won't do.
2. My cat. I rescued him from a park in Brooklyn as a kitten. I'm a dog guy at heart but I'll be damned if this guy didn't win me over.
3. A place to get away from the city and get some quiet time. I have a place on a canal in Piermont that I go and unwind in
4. A good & funny conversation.
5. Baseball in the summer, college basketball in the winter.
6. My family and my friends. They've stablized me for my entire life. .
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can improve as a person. I'm always trying to do the next right thing but it's tough sometimes.
On a typical Friday night I am
In the winter I'm usually covering a college basketball game for a sports outlet. In the summer, I'm either out of town or hanging in Red Hook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I value my privacy as I value yours.
You should message me if
If you want to see my award winning 80's Spotify playlist.

I'm aware that this is quite a ludicrous way to meet someone but here we both are. Hey, I'm optimisitic.
