My self-summary
Nerd, shy, introverted, distant, are all words that have been used to describe me, to varying degrees of accuracy, from "Spot On" to "Yeah that's probably true".

I tend to value honesty and trust above all things.

I believe that we are more than just the sum of our physical bodies and our experiences, so if someone were to clone a person, the clone would be their own person, and not a carbon copy of the original.

Being a cook means that i have to wear a hat to keep my hair in line, and when I'm not at work, i will usually have a pair of big ear phones on, or this funky magnifying glass visor thingy. as a result i tend to feel kinda naked if I'm not wearing something on my head, and this often leads to situations where i don't take my hat off at appropriate times. i don't mean any disrespect by it, it's just feels natural to have a hat on all the time.
What I’m doing with my life
Makin' pancakes, makin' bacon pancakes.

Currently working as a chef at one of the casinos.
Kansas City may not be a "culinary hotbed" but there are a lot of great little restaurants in this town, and i like to spend time tracking them down. One of my favorites is Mr. Le's, a Vietnamese/sushi restaurant in the Northland, it is amazing.

Books: Watership Down, LotR, Hitchhiker's Guide
Movies: LotR, Star Wars (NOT the prequels), Wall-e, How to train your Dragon, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle (Studio Ghibli in general) Bender's Game

Shows: TNG, DS9, Swamp People, Futurama, Jeopardy

Music: Origa, Yoko Kanno, Megumi Hayashibara, Spinal Tap, Breaking Benjamin, Flogging Molly,

Food: i like all sorts of food, too numerous to list here, but ill pretty much try anything once, maybe twice if I'm not sure. I will say that i like my burgers bloody. Warmer than body heat, but i still want to have juices dripping on the french fries.
The six things I could never do without
Computer, Sambas, pho, a hat (or at least something on my head.), and Q-Tips.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
mostly about taste and flavor combinations, or how i can construct a dish in a way that is slightly different than how other people are doing it. the rest of the time my thoughts are almost too random to give meaning to.
On a typical Friday night I am

but on the days/nights i have of i like to find new restaurants or hit up an old favorite, or sometimes just stay in.

I'm a little uncomfortable with pictures being taken of me.
