My self-summary
You shouldn’t be surprised. Nobody is one way all of the time.
I’m both a charming gentleman and a sarcastic jokester. Believe what I say and take it with a grain of salt.

I give 100% at everything I do. Needless to say, I’ve spiked a few volleyballs at grandmas in coed volleyball (none of the injuries required surgery).
I’m known for being the first one to jump on stage and sing karaoke at the official Star Trek Convention after-party. Yes, that is a real thing and I secretly despise people who say “Isn’t that the one with Luke Skywalker?”

I literally never lose my cool. My sweat is surprisingly refreshing. My pillow stays cool on both sides.
I see the humor in my mistakes. When “Plan A” goes wrong, I laugh it off because I know there are 25 more letters in the alphabet.

I take pride in being honest. I care about how my actions affect other people. When I say am I going to do something, I do it.
My mother taught me to be a man with courage. So, when you give me the “let’s make out” look after eating your onion and garlic salad, I stand my ground. Of course, the thought of running crosses my mind in the moment.
I have intense arguments with children about the egg coming before the chicken. They need practice to prepare for dealing with idiots later in life.

When we decide to take a “spontaneous” road trip, I will print copies of the itinerary for both of us unless you stop me. I have to plan things.
I try to catch fair balls while I’m screaming from the front row at Twins games.
I consider biking during rush hour, without getting killed, as an adventurous hobby.
I was the most attractive man in the room at parties I didn’t attend.

I don’t date women who are drop dead gorgeous, because I have a long life ahead of me. A positive outlook on life and playful spirit is more than enough to please me.
Whether she sees the glass as half empty or half full, her natural instinct is to ask if I’d like a sip.
She can hold her own in social situations, more like party potatoes than a couch potato.

I don’t take life too seriously.
I believe if you’ve laughed, smiled and almost passed out, you’ve lived a full day.
The best way to predict the future is to create it. We can imagine what it’s like to have a great relationship or we can build one together.

I know my preference.

Write me a message saying “Hi” and I’ll take it from there.
