My self-summary
When two roads diverged, I took the one less traveled. I've always gravitated towards sub-cultures, iconoclasts, and disruptive ideas. Since grade school I've been an instigator, a provocateur, a catalyst - someone who starts things. I've grown into someone who also finishes the shit I start - easier said than done. As a result, I'm much more careful about what I get myself into these days.

Music is a huge part of my life. I listen to it for pleasure. I make music in my spare time as a creative outlet. It is also a central part of my business.

I'm kind to strangers and a great friend to those who know me well.

I spend quite a bit of time in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco.
What I’m doing with my life
I started a business during grad school combining my passions for music, technology, marketing, and product design. We're now in our third year. I'm fortunate that work feels like play.

When I can, I make music - nu disco, house, and tech house. Occasionally I perform live or DJ. However, I don't really pursue it as a career anymore. It is fun and creatively fulfilling.

I'm a social person by nature. Time with friends is very important.

I love to be outside - running, basketball, biking, skateboarding, hiking, BBQing and playing music on the roof deck.

I have an awesome dog who acts as my snoozeless alarm clock. She is determined to make me a morning person, but I'm a night owl at heart.
I’m really good at
Throwing parties, brainstorming, finding humor in trying moments, stumbling across awesome people, team building, innovating from recipes, debating, finding adventure, learning from doing, and making people laugh with/at me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have flavor. Not a run-of-the-mill type.
