My self-summary
Trying to provide a self-summary on here is like trying to see what it's like to be a fish by holding your breath and staring at a fish tank - it's just not the same until we experience it first hand. (err...not sure that made sense but hopefully you get my drift)

But, as they say...when in Rome and all

Well, it all began in the cold winter of 1968 in a town called Englewood - in the exotic state of - you guessed it - Jersey. I'm not your typical Jersey guy, but Jersey will always have a place in my heart. I like thinking outside of the "box" - maybe you do too maybe you don't - but the important thing is that people are thinking - period. Many friends from back east asked me "What the **** were you thinking?!" when I moved across the country to SF - a place I had never visited nor did I have a job waiting for me when I arrived - guess you could say I appreciate taking risks and adventures. What's the fun in it if we don't?
What I’m doing with my life
Volunteering . Expressing myself creatively - in the form of making short films, voice overs, photography. Embracing deeper friendships, exploring life's little mysteries, being present in the moment, learning, loving, laughing.
I’m really good at
Catching a lot of quarters off my elbow. (Current record: 31)
Not being on Facebook.
Being present in them moment. Especially when I'm getting presents.
Downward Dog on crowded buses.
Dancing to the music by the two most talented musicians with the initials M.J.
Showing appreciation for friends, family and a summer breeze.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm from another planet. And I am ambidextrous with eyes, ears and nostrils.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I do enjoy gum shoe detective stories, Bukowski, Stones to Mozart, Lucinda Williams, Wilco, Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley. Big fan of Italian and Thai food. These are definitely on my top list: Annie Hall, The Graduate, Godfather II, Harold and Maude, Heaven, Can Wait, On the Waterfront, Ed Wood, To Kill A Mockingbird, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, In the Heat of the Night, Serpico, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Rear Window, The Son's Room, Rocky.
Six things I could never do without
Not giving up
Breaking stereotypes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
*If Romeo and Juliet had bachelor/bachelorette parties: "Deny thy Vegas! Refuse thy P***s shaped cake!!"
*The day when life from other planets will visit Earth.
*Time travel to the 1930's /40's.
*Maybe I should put crackers in my soup.
On a typical Friday night I am
Eating a good dinner out, at a music show or home watching movie/documentary or having friends over for game of Texas Hold 'em.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I bounced a grape off the top of a policeman's hat from afar while he was patrolling Golden Gate Park SF Opera in the park. Neither the grape or the policeman were harmed in the experiment. 100% true.
You should message me if are ready for something different. You like dancing at home in your underwear - especially when it's raining. You are happy in your are able to embrace life's plethora of ups and downs, can appreciate a gentle breeze and enjoy having staring contests with the ocean and moon whilst thumb wrestling.
The two of us
