My self-summary
Non-profit assistant and master's recipient.

I stand shoulder to shoulder with my friends (except when they’re sitting down) and stay focused and committed to my goals and aspirations (except when there's a 30 Rock marathon). I believe that everyone deserves a fair chance in this world, and that we should have a government that works to make that happen. Jewish by heritage, agnostic by choice.

I voted for Sanders in the primary, Clinton in the general, and will vote against bigotry again in the future

Recently, I've been told I'm an INFP.
What I’m doing with my life
I've recently started working as a research and development assistant for a non-profit focused on economic prosperity for Mayan communities in Mexico. We're working very hard to help the residents take advantage of local tourism, so they might better provide for their children.

I also work as a writing and social studies tutor, and am currently learning how to build websites with HTML and CSS.

Lastly, I currently hold a blue belt in the martial art of Aikido.
I’m really good at
Witty banter, having an intelligent conversation, using Oxford commas, and improvising solutions to unexpected problems.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I tend to be most partial to the kinds of stories that take place in environments or worlds different from what we’re accustomed to (e.g. Dances with Wolves, Watership Down, Game of Thrones). That being said, I can appreciate almost any story as long as it has something smart or meaningful to say about life and people.

In terms of music, I tend to gravitate towards folk (Lisa Hannigan, Of Monsters and Men) and classic rock (Bob Seger, Creedence Clearwater Revival).

As for food, I normally prefer Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and anything else that tastes good.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Questions on ancient history, philosophy, literature, and how to make the US, and the world, a fair and just place. I'm particularly motivated by the labor rights, anti-sweatshop, and anti-human trafficking movements, as well as causes aimed at limiting the power corporations hold over society.

Also, about the different ways Game of Thrones might end. After reading all five books, I've gotten pretty invested.
