My self-summary
Here's the deal.
My name is Jess, and I was originally on Okcupid back in the day, when it was super cool to have your full name as your user name (not sure if it was cool, or I was just really lame). Unfortunately, Ok won't let me change it to something badass like:
"F-Things-Up-All-Day-And-Night76" or I'd be rolling in gentlemen callers right now. Instead I'm that lame girl drinking wine in her profile picture, it doesn't help that my user name makes me sound about as cool as a soccer mom on a jetski. So I'm going to use this writing space to really knock your socks off (Hopefully you've decided to wear those cheapo pair from target, and not the adorable pink argyle ones you got in your stocking this year).

I am your definition of a social butterfly. If trees could talk, I would talk to trees.

I believe networking is the key to success (both in business life, romantically, and socially) and so I always aim to get out there to meet as many people as possible. People always say that they're not afraid to go after what they want, but I mean it. If I want it, it's as good as mine.

The most important thing about me is my sense of humor, I spend most of my days laughing. I love telling jokes, stories, and just entertaining people in general. I would love to tell you the story of the time I out ran a cop (If you care to hear it), or about my first frat party. If you can make me laugh, that's a plus.

I love theatre, sports (I love hockey-GO CAPS!), Concerts (Rock or rap), and experiencing new things. I love all things vintage. I love Monroe, and I aspire to be like her in style and in confidence (But minus all those disorders she had.). and I love travel, and I get paid to do it. I love swing dancing. And know a place with lessons and a Swing dance club afterwards! Most importantly, I love using the phrase "I love", as shown by the past paragraph.

Feel free to snoop around my profile and send me an email.
What I’m doing with my life
I have the privilege of working for Disney Cruise Lines doing entertainment onboard one of their ships. This, of course, means that I'm gone for work for months each contract, and therefore I'm not looking for any long term relationships. Also, because I get this question a lot, I am not a juggler.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, Public speaking, Dressing myself each and every morning, smiling, coming up with songs on the fly, running, and burning bake-at-home pizzas.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice. It's very unique. Not in a Will-and-Grace-Karen sort of unique, more like Tour-Guide-Barbie-at-the-end-of-Toy-Story-3 Unique. (For Reference )
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books are comics. I'm currently into the Saga series and the kick ass series. Kick ass has been turned into movies, which I quite like, and saga is a new aged romeo and Juliet of a different alien universe. Both I highly recommend. But I also like books like the hitchhiker's guide and the Hunger Games. I'm not a huge reader, and I tend to stick to picture books.

My favorite movie is the Grinch that stole Christmas (the Jim Carrey one)(Don't ask why, I don't know), and, even though I've had to seen it a couple dozen times for work, I really enjoy Frozen. I like most movies I see, though.

Television-wise, I enjoy almost everything. I like the shitty reality television, but I also love sci-fi shows like Doctor Who, and comedy shows like Arrested Development. I also adored American Horror Story, but I haven't seen all of Coven yet, so don't ruin it for me.

My favorite music is Mellow and relaxing, Jacks Manniquin, Rob Thomas, Matchbox 20, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Michael Bubble top the list. But I also adore rap, Hip hop, and R &B. I love early decade music as well as modern (I love listening to new music). I also love old classics like "come fly with me" and so on.

My favorite food is Sushi. Hands down. but I won't refuse classics like chicken fingers or burgers. I'm not too adventurous with food, the most daring thing I've ever had was snail and that wasn't too good so I've shyed away from extreme foods.
The six things I could never do without
My sister. My job. My alarm clock. My running shoes. The Oxford Comma. My heated Blanket. A Towel (If you get that, then you absolutely must message me)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Weddings. Don't worry, not my own. But I definitely enjoy the sappy wedding shoes on TV.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm out! Eating sushi, dancing with friends, playing board games. I rarely sit inside, or go without seeing people, especially on the weekends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've had hip surgery.
You should message me if
You can properly crack a crab, or you're willing to learn.
