My self-summary
Hi, I'm Alex. Sorta nerdy, definitely geeky. Netflix and Hulu binger and audiobook and podcast listener.

I'm looking for someone who's intelligent, creative, and funny who I can share ideas with and do more than just go out to have fun. Although fun should definitely be a part of it. My ideal fictional character match would be April Ludgate, Lisbeth Salander, or Lana Kane... or just the real life Aisha Tyler I guess.

BTW I will make stupid jokes and possibly do funny voices for you.
What I’m doing with my life
Going through various stages of beard/no beard.
I’m really good at
Dropping random movie/tv trivia, quotes, and/or references.
The first things people usually notice about me
My resemblance to Clark Kent, Harry Potter, or anyone else who wears glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Millennium Trilogy(AKA Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Harry Potter, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Clockwork Orange, Rebel Without a Crew, Elmore Leonard, Stephen King, Philip K Dick, Jules Verne, Agatha Christie, HP Lovecraft.

Movies: I have a bookshelf full of DVDs but my developing Blu-ray collection includes Star Wars (original trilogy) Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Drag me to Hell, Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Eyes Wide Shut, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, The Good The Bad and The Weird, Watchmen, Gremlins 1 & 2, The Goonies, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Prometheus. I also have a million movies qued up on my Netflix and Hulu accounts that range from Criterion Collections to Sharknado 3.

TV: The Flash, Arrow, Agents of Shield, Gotham, Marvel Netflix shows, Key and Peele, X-files, Twilight Zone, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, and I recently discovered the genius that is Gravity Falls.

Music: I like instrumental stuff mostly, jazz, blues, classical, soundtracks. On occasion I may feel the need for some Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Disturbed, Michael Jackson, Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Beatles, Elvis, Elvis Costello, Daft Punk, The Kinks, I'd say I'm pretty open.

Food: Falafel and hummus, Mexican-Korean fusion, sushi, pad-thai, Rubens, midnight burritos. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I do like trying out meat alternatives like Tofurky sausage and Quinoa Burgers. They're okay, but I still like my beef and dairy.
The six things I could never do without
1. My laptop
2. My camera
3. Instant microwave noodles
4. Youtube Tutorials
5. Caffeine (this should probably be #1)
6. My crock pot (Lentil soup, turkey chili, chorizo tacos, mac and cheese, so many uses.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
WWBMD? What would Bill Murray do?
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting some cheap Chinese food, swinging by an arcade bar, hanging out with my platonic BFFs while we watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt or something the likes there of. Or running over to The Music Box, The Davis, or The New 400 for a movie.
You should message me if
You want to do something creative together like writing, photography, painting, or cooking a nice meal.

You want to go to the Music Box for a special screening.

You want to hit up an arcade bar and/or coffee bar and/or used book store.

You know what Smodcast is.

Or if you're just curious.
