A pirate on a sea of dream,
Something of a ribald-savant...
And still more than that which I seem.
Obviously a nerd to start off my dating profile with verse (it is original, yes), but also actually a pirate, a Storyteller, a rogue, a libertine, a switch, ridiculous, a polyamorous hopeless romantic, of the Fae, part Muppet, House Stark, and many other descriptors and affiliations that are much more fun discovered in person!
Yes, casual sex is listed as something I'm looking for--meaningful, casual connections, to be clear. I'm looking for substance, be it fun and friendly, hot and heavy, or sweet and romantic. That said, I'm a total perv and love to make dirty jokes, corny jokes, flirt like a goof, and generally just enjoy life with some fo-pah.
Oh, and then I also run karaoke shows and an Irish folk/Ren-Rock band, with whom I sing and play the irish pennywhistle. Nerd Alert.
Telling stories and listening to other people's stories - I am a big fan or the oral tradition (there's a bad joke there...).
Walking the fine line between ridiculously silly and professionally serious. Okay, more like playing hopscotch around it. But seriously. SERIOUS HOPSCOTCH.
Pairing tasty wines, beers, whiskys and cheeses, or mixing tasty cocktails.
Being snarky, finding myself in odd and ridiculous situations, making an ass of myself, and shouting out the lame, dirty or antique jokes most of you are thinking but don't want to say... It's part of my charm.
I've been sometimes told it's my smile or my eyes. If you tell me this, I will probably blush wildly.
J.R.R. Tolkien, Dr. Seuss and William Shakespeare are the holy triumverate at the top of my literary pantheon. Oscar Wilde and Sam Shepard are demigods.

Dave Grohl rules with a rawk fist.
Ska is what makes me 'Rude' (I'm actually quite polite otherwise...).
I love Rock, Alt Rock, Classic Rock, Punk Rock, Irish Rock, Pirate Rock, Celtic Rock, Rockabilly, Rock & Roll, Cover bands, and a lot of americana-folk. Give me 90s jams any day of the week. And any song that tells a story.
Foods: Practically Anything--I love food. I'll try most anything twice. Can never go wrong with Italian or a real good burger. I need to discover more sushi.
I drink coffee and chai, bourbon and Irish whisky, dark craft beer and cider.
I love Coffeehouses, Delis and Diners.
People, especially my friends and family--"There’s something way down deep that’s eternal... and that something has to do with human beings." ~Thorton Wilder, "Our Town"
Answers--Or perhaps more accurately, questions to answer. Not trying to be deep; I really couldn't do with a world where everything was known.

Working, at a concert, at the nerd bar, singing/hosting karaoke, or just randomly finding trouble to get into. Or sitting at home cleaning weapons, playing pennywhistle and watching Netflix.
...you're interested in engaging a new partner for fun, exploration and new experiences of all kinds, be it in the bedroom, in the kitchen, on stage, or in the great outdoors.
... you dig that however we connect, any potential sexual intimacy is about enjoying each other's person, not just each other's body parts. Same goes for dating and friends, obviously.
Let's eat cheese and go adventuring.
