I'm a delivery driver by day and a videographer/stand-up comedian by night. I still coach High School and semi-pro sports. I'm not a total party boy, but we will have fun together.
I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm not even close to being the dullest tool in the shed, either. I always have a smile on my face and enjoy great times with friends new and old.
Every so often, I like to throw some stuff in the back of my truck and go on road trips to nowhere in particular (no set plans, just $ in my pocket, a Coleman stove, camping gear, and clothes). Exploring is good for the soul. As a member of the Couch Surfing movement, I can go anywhere and hang with interestinng people no matter where it is. Next time I go, I'd like to have someone riding along.
I am a member of the Couch Surfing Movement (a worldwide social network for travelers). As such, I offer assistance, advice, and the occasional tour of the area to out-of-town visitors. You meet all sorts of fascinating people that way! The Detroit CS Club puts on an annual "couch crash" called Detroit Camp City, and I hold down the fort at headquarters.
In case you're an astrology buff:
I was born on the "cusp" of Scorpio and Sagittarius (three minutes to midnight on November 22nd). This site doesn't allow for that kind of info.
Yes, I can cook. Maybe if you ask real nice, I'll fix up some of my boneless grilled chicken or a spot of jambalaya. Who knows? We may even go to a Couch Surfing potluck. Those are always a blast.
I am unconventional, intense, and passionate
I lost 82 pounds total since last May. I really have to update my pics to reflect this because everyone says they don't recognize me. Going whole grain has really turned me around for the better. If you want to stuff yourself and get skinny doing it, I'm your man!
The past few years have been fairly productive with video projects, helping visitors to Detroit through Couch Surfing, and working up at the high school with the football, hockey, and basketball coaches. Winter is usually my ultra-busy season, but I'm always down to hang out when I can.
I just started a new job delivering for Panera. On top of that, I now hold CompTIA A+ certification and PC Pro Certification. If you know anyone with a computer repair shop situation, and is looking for an extra hand, throw 'em my way.
Starting Sunday September 4th, my normal open mic show gets going again in Ypsilanti. We call it The Un-Club. It's a solid way to cap off your weekend without breaking the bank.
Also opened a few comedy shows for my mentor when he headlined at Big Tommy's. Aiming to become a paid "feature" in 2017. I'm getting closer to this goal all the time.

Eat to Win: The Sports Nutrition Bible, Wicked French for the Traveler by Howard Tomb, You Can Run, But You Can't Hide by Dog Chapman, Hitless Wonder by Joe Oestreich (I'm actually mentioned by name in that last one!)
National Lampoon's Animal House, Wayne's World, Wayne's World 2, Austin Powers series, The Princess Bride, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Clue, The Replacements, old Marx Bros. and Three Stooges flix.
It depends on my mood. One day, I'll be listening to blues, the next day, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead, the day after that might be Louis Prima, John Mellencamp, the list goes on...
Bob Seger, Stevie Ray Vaughan, KISS, Ted Nugent, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, old-school Metallica (before they got rid of Jason Newstead), The Ramones, Iggy Pop, MC5, Aerosmith, AC/DC, small acts like Watershed out of Columbus, Ohio, Overloaded out of Detroit, Broadzilla (local), lots of local stuff.

Working, shooting game footage for my coaching staff (football in Fall, basketball and hockey in Winter), going out to see performances of bands that I'm friends with, comedy clubs, middle eastern restaurants, or theater. Occasionally, I'll be giving a "surfer" a night tour.
During weekends, I'm usually filming or acting as a non-skating official for roller derby bouts. The third Sunday of every month is the Detroit CS Club's monthly potluck, although I've put those on the back burner in favor of comedy class/open mic nights in Ann Arbor. You can hear a smile in that room.
It depends on the night. Tigers Games, Torch With a Twist variety show, karaoke, comedy, or a live band. The activity doesn't matter as much as my company. I love getting out to new out of the way spots, maybe you could show me yours....or we could get really creative and go to A2 for some people watching. The possibilities are endless with the right people.
I come with a 30-minute guarantee. If you're not satisfied within 30 minutes of talking to me, you can go back to the boring douchebags you were dealing with before. But remember, it's a limited time offer.
Life's a journey. Don't miss the bus. ;)
