My self-summary
I think some people would consider me a weird person. I like to think that I just have fun, and try not to let inhibitions get in the way. I'm pretty spontaneous. My idea of a great time often involves last minute plans and/or adventures.

I think that the rest of my profile contains a pretty decent snapshot of me, so take a look.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm living with some college buddies in Madison working at the UW Extension full time. I didn't quite graduate before I ran out of money, but I'm pretty close have been looking into what it would take for me to go back next spring. I'm not sure what I want to do with my life, but I think something related to math and computers sounds pretty much up my alley. Cryptology sounds interesting too, but I honest know next to nothing about the field.
I’m really good at
Math. I guess I'm good at figuring things out, test taking, chess, Guitar Hero, eating copious amounts of pizza, writing, I'm sure there are other thing, but most importantly, being generally weird and fun loving.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm always laughing at something.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Nightfall, any stories by Issac Asimov, Harry Potter, Pendragon, Shakespeare, Star Wars books, 1984, Frankenstein, or any bound collection of paper with words on it.

Movies: I watch way too many movies and TV shows. Here's a few of my favorites, I guess. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Minority Report, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pitch Black, anything science fiction, comedy, musical, or action to be sure.

TV Shows: I watch too many. Currently working on Stargate SG-1, Doctor Who, and Archer, and some of my favorites include Arrested Development, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, X-Files. Avatar: The Last Airbender, Angel Beats! (I include anime in TV shows. Hope I don't offend any serious anime fans!), How I Met Your Mother, and more... Netflix is not good for productivity.

Shows: I love watching shows on stage, especially musicals! I guess my favorites would have to be Rent and Wicked.

Music: I listen to pretty much anything. I guess I mostly listen to pop, classic rock, prog rock, punk, and metal.

Food: I love food.
The six things I could never do without
I've had the generic crap down for a while. Let's try to make this little bit more interesting...
1. Laughter (kind of cliche, but I'm keeping it because it's true)
2. Science fiction
3. A couch to nap on
4. Google, the great bestower of knowledge
5. Something to listen to in a car
6. Mtn Dew Voltage, you are sooo good.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spent a lot of time crunching numbers in my head for fun, or planning out my next activity or hobby. As much as I plan, however, I have no issue with those plans being tossed aside at a moments notice if someone suggests something better. I also spend a considerable time contemplating politics, philosophy, and theology.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my housemates! I don't go out much on Fridays, I like to just sit around and wind down.
You should message me if
You are interested, you are bored, or you want to simply tell me what you ate for dinner. I like talking to people and I'd love to hear from you!
