My self-summary
I was born in Mexico, raised in Seattle, and was forged in Montana. That's the most badass way I can think to recall that story. Truth is I was dragged from Seattle to Montana because I was 14 years old and I couldn't say no. Cue 80's training montage in the mountains. Here we are now! Almost a decade later! I've become fluent in sarcasm and dry humor, with a minor in witty banter and dialogue.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm surviving. I'm trying to do whatever makes sense for me and for my family. That means I've got a stable job and I'm looking to start college soon. Aside from that, I'm also reading a lot, and cooking. I'm also trying to obtain some semblance of a social life.
I’m really good at
I can cook one hell of a meal. I can make a lot of different dishes. Speaking of dishes, I tend to get a lot of them dirty when cooking. Fatal flaw, I know. Hopefully the meal is worth the work afterwards. I'm good at reading a book. I have a weird thing where I can skip 2 or three nouns at a time when reading and automatically fill in the blanks with the appropriate words to increase my reading time. It's probably the weirdest thing to be able to brag about.

The World, Once Upon a Time in China, Drunken Master, Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, Godzilla, The Great Gatsby, Titanic, Sinister, The Conjuring, SAW, Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, Frailty, Scary Movie, Forrest Gump, Big Fish Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away.

Music; too big of a list. I'll instead list the music I don't like/rarely listen to. Country, screamo, EDM, Dubstep, Mumble rap (you know what I'm talking about. I love rap... just not this new age stupid crap), and polka.

Food; I love all foods except green peas, whole pinto beans (refried beans are fine), black beans, kidney beans, or lentils.
Six things I could never do without
I could not live without my family. Everything I do and everything I am is because of my mother and my grandparents. I owe them everything.

Food. I love me good food. I love cooking good food. I love the process of picking ingredients. I love stuffing my face. I love food.

My cellphone. I hate that I'm so reliant on it but I do my work off of my phone so I need it. It keeps me in touch with the people I love since they aren't near.

The city. I thrive on the chaos of the city. I live for the city. I love that there's always something going on. There's always an event or a store open. The city is always alive and I love that!

Friends. There are a very select few individuals that I would do anything for. Friends that have done so much for me that I couldn't imagine life without them.

Netflix. I hate to say it but sometimes when I need to just escape reality for a while. Netflix has always been there. Netflix doesn't cheat. Netflix doesn't sleep with my best friends. Netflix never abandons me. Netflix takes me away from my stressful day.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. What else can I do to better provide for myself and for my family. How can I better improve myself and how can I let that take root in other aspects of my life. Also, did I leave the damn stove on? What's next for dinner? Where did I put my phone? Damn, is it my turn to pay for dinner this time or is it theirs? Crap, I didn't leave the stove on, I left the iron on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Just as likely to go out and do something as I am to stay inside, cooking enough food for 3 people and eat it all thinking that I won't regret only to find myself miserable 45 minutrs later.
