My self-summary
I'm an eccentric, wealthy man, so I won't buy you a coffee on the first date, but...BUT...I may buy you a yacht on the second date.

Wowbobwow...Twin Peaks is coming back, what else do you need in life? Oh right, someone to enjoy it with!

I am a man of character and characters.

It's impossible to summarize the depths of my own admitted oddness, but the intentions of the heart beating behind it are always steadfast and true.
What I’m doing with my life
Pursuing voice acting and occasional filmmaking.

I also worked at a comedy club and movie theater.
I’m really good at
At being able to find your inner funny bone, and tickle it to the point of insanity.
The first things people usually notice about me
The magnificent beard....then my magnificent voice...ahem.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There's so much of everything, let me, not enough time, let me summarize...

Tv: True Detective, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, GOT, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, Firefly, Carnivale, Deadwood, Justified, Walking Dead, Twin Peaks, X-Files, original Transformers, Thundercats, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko, Pawn Stars

Movies: From Chaplin/Keaton Silents, to WC Fields and the Marx bros, to classics like Citizen Kane, Singing in the Rain, King Kong to Blade Runner/Star Wars, Jaws, to the weirdest and most obscure grindhouse fair to weird and hilarious stuff like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, to poetically beautiful foreign like Solaris/Nostalgia, Ran/Yojimbo, to animated classics like the Brave Little Toaster...the list could go on forever, suffice it to say I'm a true film lover!

Books: H.P. Lovecraft, Poe, Stephen King, Elmore Leonard, Mark Twain, classics, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Odyssey, Dog Goes to School
Six things I could never do without
My car (I live in LA), dog Shadow, my repertory movie theaters, my filmmaking with my friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why douchebags get to abuse and take their relationships for granted, yet decent people (ahem) are forced to make profiles on websites...

Also why they can put a man on the moon, but they can't make a decent m&m that won't actually melt in your hand....these are the thoughts that kept me out of the really good schools.
On a typical Friday night I am
I try to keep my Fridays open, but they're usually filled with dinner with friends or family, writing skits or scripts with said friends, going to an amazing screening at a repertory theater that you could never see anywhere else, or consulting with my lab mice on world domination plans...but perhaps I've said too I'll just catch up on Netflix instead.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I LOVE A Talking Cat!?!
You should message me if
If the word 'elbow' feels good to say, hehe. (you'll get a million bonus points if you can name that reference!)

And you have a sense of humor...or at least a sense of humor...ahem.

All kidding aside, I recommend reading this article
before going on any dates, there are entirely too many people on here who are not honest with themselves or me. I'm beyond fed up with the bullshit...if you just want sex then be up front about that (no dude will ever say no, if he does then run for your life, he's either a liar and/or crazy). If you want a real relationship then be prepared to invest some time and some of will be painful, nothing worthwhile or lasting is ever pain free (a hard but crucial fact of life to learn). I'm not proposing we need to do either of these things, if you want to just hang and see where it goes, then let's do that too. Just be honest about where you are in your life, be aware that we may be in very different places but just acknowledge that to yourself before making any knee jerk judgements or decisions. We can figure out how and if we fit together in any capacity, just be open, we're both here because life has been less than perfect. Let me be there for you and you there for me, the rest we'll figure out as we go.
The two of us
