My self-summary
sentient
What I’m doing with my life
The last year or so has had this ongoing theme of working to become more mindful and deepen my emotional relationship with myself. This ongoing process has really clarified some of the things I love doing, and I generally shoot to prioritize them:

1. Music: Playing in bands, going on tour, writing and recording at home, writing and recording in studios. Listening to and learning about new stuff, going out to shows, geeking at the record store and with friends, general mockery.

2. Work: I feel happiest and most balanced when I've got some good work to push hard on. I've been working in the cannabis industry for the past 3 or so years. Like the plant itself, I've found working in cannabis to be intellectually challenging, personally rewarding and generally pretty fun.

3. My People: My chosen family is incredibly important to me. Working on art and life in the context of DiY and punk culture is complicated, but it has definitely taught me the value and depth of my ties with friends. I see intimacy and connection coming in a whole variety of unpredictable forms and I value them immensely.

4. Time and Space: Hurry and Claustrophobia are awful.
I’m really good at
skill is relative
The first things people usually notice about me
coming up on a half-decade without a haircut
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Constantly shifting.

Common themes include diner food, The X-Files, taquerias, black metal, Twin Peaks, hardcore, pizza, SVU, ambient, the first ten seasons of The Simpsons, postpunk, synth, etc.
The six things I could never do without
I feel like getting by without the numbers 1-6 would be very challenging.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Experience, history and compassion. And riffs. And tacos.
On a typical Friday night I am
Yes, I am.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
not really
You should message me if
you think being around each other in person seems worth giving a try.
