My self-summary
I'm a sarcastic, overworked mess with a tendency to distance myself from others. I'm still trying to figure out if that makes me an asshole. I spend my weekends making music and drinking beer until the sun shames me into sleeping.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a hospital corpsman with the Navy, but I don't consider that to be what I'm doing with my life. I'm working on a masters degree in business administration and my occupational goal is to eventually own a music venue/bar by age 30. I'd like to be a college professor by day, venue owner by night. Its looking like I'll be starting a Ph.D program in July...eh, more work.
I’m really good at
Writing, making music, giving killer massages, working my ass off for no particular reason and being a compassionate person when nobody's looking. I'm also pretty good at prescribing music for the depressed.
The first things people usually notice about me
Does it matter?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books, movies and shows are kind of whatever. I will admit to being a South Park fanboy, as well as a diehard Chicago Bears and Blackhawks fan.

I'm a huge indie hip hop doucher. In the past I was able to keep up with it, but I haven't been following much current music...I mainly stick to older stuff like MF Doom, Eyedea & Abilities, Atmosphere, Cannibal Ox, Aesop Rock, El-P, Hieroglyphics, etc... Pretty much any old Rhymesayers or Def Jux stuff is in my collection. The Lucy Ford LP by Atmosphere is probably the soundtrack to my life and First Born by Eyedea & Abilities is still mind-blowing.

The Head and the Heart, Fiona Apple, Wilco, Amy Winehouse, Garbage, Frightened Rabbit, The Avett Brothers and Everclear are great. I'm also a sucker for 90's pop shit, as well as old Blink-182 and Brand New, but don't tell anyone.
The six things I could never do without

...is that too literal?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Too much of too little relevance. Its always the silly things that consume my thoughts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably not doing anything too interesting. Most weekends I'm either catching up on work or making some music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Oh Jesus...just ask.
You should message me if
You are a genuine person. Or just a person at all. Or a half-robot. Slim pickens these days, dude.
