My self-summary
What too say, hmmm, I'm new to the online services thing though I am computer savvy. A brief description would be intelligent, good listener and I enjoy a good conversation. Honest and straight forward I will give you my honest opinion about anything even if it is that I have no experience and so no opinion. Good natured, love the outdoors, art, music and traveling when I can afford it, also I have several tattoos that show the occasionally rebelious side of me! I am a fiercely loyal friend and have strong ties with my family.
What I’m doing with my life
I've recently taken a drafting course to further my career and am looking forward to the new challenges this brings my way. I am also getting my social life back on track towards prolonged and stable happiness. A few dysfunctional relationships are in my past and I'd like to get things going the right way with the right woman.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at fixing things and solving problems. By things I mean just about anything from cars to computers, furniture to flowerbeds. As frequently as I am asked to come help a friend out working on something, I am also asked for advice, perspective and support.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I am more than I appear to be and that I am surprisingly easy to talk with about almost anything. With a shaved head, short beard and many tattoos on first glance I am just another guy trying to act tough, if you talk to me though, you'll find each tattoo has a story about me behind it and that I enjoy hanging out at home with a good book as I do out with my friends.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorites in books, movies and T.V. are generally Sci-Fi and fantasy with a smattering of typical guy flicks with things blowing up, fast cars and dramatic underdog hero stuff. It doesn't take too much to get me to watch other things but I do shy away from slap-stick comedies...sorry, not a 3 Stooges fan.
Six things I could never do without
six things I can not do with out...
1) Pocket knife/utility thingy....gotta have one with me.
2) cheesy as it maybe Friends, they're the family you get to choose
3) next on the cheesy list is of course family
4) A great story....written, videoed, sung, spoken or just remembered
5) Music, need those funky beats rollin' through my life
and lastly I have decided that going through life alone isn't really living to the fullest that I can so I think that 6 should be someone to share the journey of life with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This one is tough as I spend a great deal of time thinking about all sorts of things....philosophy, spiritual and metaphysical concepts, how I can make myself more secure in the world and in the future. I think about what I can learn from all I have been through and what can I teach others so that they don't need to learn those same lessons the hard way I did.
On a typical Friday night I am
On a typical Friday night I am either singing karaoke, hanging with my friends watching movies or relaxing at home. To be honest, I know those aren't al that exciting but hey I'm open to new things while enjoying the old.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
So far as I can recall there is at this point in my life nothing I am not willing to admit. I've done what I have done, each experience be it happy , sad or embarrassing has helped shape me into who I am so I can and will admit to it all.
The two of us
