My self-summary
A Man With A Plan

I'm a native New Yorker - a professional, philanthropist, singer/guitarist, and consultant to the arts. I just moved back from Miami for a short stay (I am spending one month in Manhattan and Livingston, NJ, visiting family). Then, it's overseas for six months of work and fundraising in Medellin. My foundation helps rehabilitate former child soldiers in Colombia and educate impoverished children in the Brazilian favelas.

*If you are not comfortable with someone moving away for (at least) six months, don't contact me.*

People can't believe I've had a circle of six best friends for more than 25 years, but I just have a knack for keeping folks understanding of what makes people tick. It began with vacations in Miami, urging my parents to turn a blind eye when Grandma cheated at Scrabble and dumped restaurant rolls into her handbag. With friends, I became the tour guide, leading them down to Arrial d’ Ajuda for Carnaval, where we danced and drank Caipirinhas in front of 120,000 screaming Brazilians. I've saved friends from angry bouncers in Florence, sang and played guitar in Santorini, and danced tango in Buenos Aires.

*believe that the day after Halloween should be a national holiday.
*treat busboys w/ the same respect as your CEO.
*have one of the following in your top movie list: Run Lola Run, ONCE, Harold Maude, The Big Lebowski, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Bananas, City of God, The Princess Bride.
*know who wrote the novel "Stranger in a Strange Land."
*are intrigued by left-handed people.
What I’m doing with my life
Helping people in a different way. For too many years, I've made rich people even more rich. Now is the time in my life I get to focus far more time using my skills to help truly needy children.
I’m really good at
being an uncle, a brother, a son, and a friend. I'm really good at singing/guitar, basketball, tennis, teaching Laughter Yoga (never heard of Laughter Yoga? Check out YouTube), helping people, being subtly sarcastic, and winning Olympic Gold Medals in Skee-ball and Chocolate Tasting.

Six things I could never do without
Sushi, Music, & Chocolate
Pizza, Love, & Understanding
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how I can help millions of people -- rather than thousands -- have better lives; finding additional opportunities to volunteer.
On a typical Friday night I am
trying a new restaurant with a group of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The first act I ever saw in concert was Juice Newton. Granted, she was just the opening act for Neil Young, but that doesn't make the awful memories go away.
You should message me if
you like a man who makes decisions (and doesn't burden you with the responsibility of making plans).
