My self-summary
Music is perhaps the most important thing to me. When someone says, "I love music" that could mean anything and be just as generic as Bud Light; however, my taste in music is not generic but very specific and always growing. Rather than waste time with local radio, which put Bob Seger's kids through college, I research new bands and discover new music that challenges and excites me.

Film is another very important part of my life, as I attended film school, have produced my own work and helped others visualize their dreams cinematically. Yes, I can be found on IMDB, but that's not something I am going to use as bragging; it's just a part of my life. As important as the medium is to me, I don't really watch many movies due to time, attention span, etc.; however, I do watch an absurd amount of concerts and music-related videos.

I am certainly younger in spirit and interests than my age would possibly suggest, so I am trying this out to see if there is anyone with similar thoughts, passions, interests, etc. who would like to share some time and experiences.
What I’m doing with my life
Mostly working (my job affords a less than equitable work/life balance most of the time). Listening to music, cooking, reading, and doing laundry in what little spare time I seem to have.

By the way, I'm not on here very often, nor do I have the app on my phone, and sometimes I just am relishing in my down time from work, so don't be offended, or bemused, if my response to any correspondence is not immediate or socially timely.
I’m really good at
Coming up with a funny observation/commentary, spontaneously, only to never remember it again.
Always seeing both the positive and negative equally.
Taking only what really needs taken seriously, seriously.
Drinking, smoking cigarettes, and being interestingly entertained by the mundane.
Finding new music.
The first things people usually notice about me
No clue. I spend zero time thinking about what other people think about me upon first look.

You would like to get to know more about me over a coffee or other social beverage. You're not completely insane. You can be open to new music. You would like to talk about something other than sports. You would like me to get to know you. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading . . . .
