My self-summary
I’m a kid at heart, always enchanted by the magic of nature, people, music…

As an adult I try to express myself without being overcome by the fears that society sometimes instills in us. That means that you can find me dancing and singing from the heart – not in a performance setting but in an outburst of joy or fun that expresses my heart’s love for life. I also try to dance and sing during the hard times too… invoking love and hope when it is most needed.

Friendship, family, community: so important. I finally feel like I have a sense of community here in Vermont after moving back several years ago. I love the people in my life – dear friends and companions – but I want someone to share romance and deeper companionship with.

I feel like my “calling” in life has to do with helping people (including myself) heal the relationship we have with the land, with each other, and with ourselves. Mending our connection with the earth is really important to me. For instance, I hope to offer therapy outdoors teaching people to connect to the earth, learn new skills, and also reconnect with their own inner child.

I’m a gentle person, sensitive, caring, and authentic. I am also strong and stand up for myself and others. I am creative, passionate, free-spirited, and fiercely loving and loyal. I feel the Spirit in the trees and the sunrise. I see Beauty looking into the eyes of another. I love my own heart, take care of myself, and am committed to my own personal and spiritual growth.

I also love to sit around a fire, sharing in revelry and laughter, and enjoying the fun-loving presence of friends and strangers alike.
What I’m doing with my life
Cherishing it!

And getting my license as a therapist and taking classes in primitive living skills and other outdoor adventures.

Giving people hugs when they want them!
I’m really good at
Cuddling, caring for others, being a loyal friend, buying more books than I will actually have time to read.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The best food is that which has been prepared with love! And even though I am full of love, I'm not always the most inspired cook unfortunately (though occasionally I do get inspired)...

Movies: Arrival, Slum Dog Millionaire, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Fried Green Tomatoes, Planet Earth/Blue Planet, A League of Their Own, Brokeback Mountain, Best in Show, Winged Migration, Bridesmaids, The Journey

TV: I don't watch much tv but I do like: SNL, John Oliver, and I absolutely LOVED the mini series adaptation of War and Peace.

Books: Ishmael, 1984; An Unquiet Mind, Letters to a Young Poet, Rethinking Madness, The Things They Carried. But I read mostly non-fiction: tons of spirituality and nature books, poetry by Rumi, Mary Oliver, Pablo Neruda, David Whyte.

Music: Trevor Hall, The Oh Hello's, Crooked Still, Lauryn Hill, The Head and the Heart, Alexi Murdoch, The Avett Brothers, Tracy Chapman, Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, Peter Bradley Adams, Bon Iver, Gregory Alan Isokov, Ben Howard, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young, Willie Nelson... various new age, some pop, and some hip-hop....

I LOVE coffee!!
Six things I could never do without
Things I'm grateful for....

Opportunities to explore the woods
Big hugs from loved ones
Toasty, cozy fire on a cold day
Moments when you see the sun about to rise or set and you just know there are so many things you want to learn, people you want to meet, changes you want to make, love you want to share
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How beautiful the sky and mountains are, whether or not I should go into that used bookstore even though I already have so many books I'm not done reading yet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting by a fire... sometimes dancing... spending time with family and friends... or just hanging out by myself
You should message me if
you feel like we might enjoy getting to know each other or you just want to say hi.
The two of us
