My self-summary
I am a good person…a good friend, teacher, sister, daughter, and partner. I find myself smiling often from the little moments: a student’s comment in class that shows that he learned something about life, a walk down town with good music, sunshine, and strangers, a circles of great friends late at night.

I love teaching everyday and feel like I am making a difference in the world (some days more than others). I would love someone else who is passionate about something, feeling like he makes a difference somehow, whether through his career or not.

I enjoy living in the Boston area and try to take in all that the city has to offer from coffee shops and concerts to parks, galleries, yoga, and farmer’s markets to games, dives, and outdoor drinking. I love Somerville/Cambridge, especially, but I do take it all in.

I strive for balance in my life and am doing well with it…stimulation & relaxation., dedication & detachment, family and friends. I am ready for a relationship with someone to share myself with, to learn from and with, etc…but am up for meeting with and talking to good people along the way.
What I’m doing with my life
I find a lot of fulfillment teaching high school students everyday, especially in the subject of English. To read amazing literature, learn about life lessons and yourself, and find the ability to express yourself through the written word are all such important life skills. I'm very happy and thankful that I love going to work everyday. It's time consuming, but I try to balance work with "me" time.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The present.

I have a bad memory but when people ignite past memories it's great
and I think of the future occasionally ... but the present is where it's at.
On a typical Friday night I am
enjoying a way too early happy hour with teacher friends , then home to relax. I'm up for breaking the routine though!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like to listen to dirty rap when working out
