One important interrest of mine is music. I play the clarinet in an orchestra. I've also started to learn to play the guitar, which so far has lead to nothing. I've also tried to learn various social dances. So far it's become foxtrot, lindy hop and tango.
I like to go to the theatre. Preferably the strange avant garde performance art-like stuff. I like to be surprised.
I play the clarinet in an orchestra. We play concerts, festivals and occasional tours.
I read a lot.
I go to the theatre. I try to see new interresting shows as often as I can.
I try to learn more languages. At the moment I'm getting into French and Spanish, while at the same time keeping up my German and my Japanese.
Books: I used to think writers like Terry Pratchett and Robert Rankin was totaly crazy, until I came across Stanislw Lem and Italo Calvino. I also like american pulp writers like H.P. Lovecraft and Robert E Howard. It's a genre I'd really like to know more about.
Comic books: Jhonen Vasquez, Shannon Wheeler
Movies: Save the Green Planet, Postman Blues, Brazil, Delicatessen.
Music: My interrest in music follows two major paths. Along the first one you find electronic, industrial and gothic stuff like Fad Gadget, Rasputina and Skinny Puppy. On the other path you find everything wind instrument related, like ska, jazz and classical music. As I learn more about this kind of music, my namedropping will be equally intense.
Food: I like to try new stuff, but some favourites are the japanese as well as traditional swedish food.
Comedians: This category is important to me. Some of my favourites are Stewart Lee, Ross Noble and Sean Lock. Some comedians that I find overrated are Eddie Izzard, Bill Hicks and Magnus Betnér.
(What was I thinking when I wrote that? I hate intellectual conversation. Some serious nonsense, that's what I like!)
