Basically, im trying to stay in the moment and enjoy what ever it is that im doing. manotany is my kryptonite, change is my sun.
***I've lived like a leaf blowing in the wind for the past few years and enjoyed it. From hiking through Guatemalan Jungles and island hopping in the south Pacific to working various jobs, some in a legally grey area. I did all of this in the selfish pursuit of experience. Life doesn't grow stagnant when the faces and places change often, or so I thought. 2 years ago I began to feel the monotony set in. I decided maybe I needed roots so I shacked up with a woman I was in love with in a cabin on a mountain in East Tn. That didn't pan out. It did allow me the time tk slow down and really figure out what I wanted to do. So I'm here, in Richmond, pursuing a degree in education. I dig the kids, they challenge my personal philosophies.
My eyes. My stately beard. My calves. The aura of mysticism that surrounds me.
I enjoy music that touches the soul. The spectrum is wide but a few examples are:
Shovels and Rope
The Grateful Dead
The Devil Makes Three
Lenny and the piss poor boys
My favorite movie is Armagedon 2: Armagedon. My favorite show is Cop Rock. Really it's Top Gun and Arrested Development.
The books next to my bed right now are:
Welcome to the Monkey house by Kurt Vonnegut Jr
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
And Lamb by Christopher Moore
^^^this is outdated but a good reflection of my reading preferences.
I fux with food, all kinds. Try me
My go to drink is Buffalo Trace, neat, 3 fingers. I am a whiskey man but I appreciate wine as well. I can take or leave beer, usually something light and crisp as a back for my strong booze.
A good pack
Running water. A river, not indoor plumbing
You. The sun, moon and stars. Obscure rap Lyrics, usually from a Wutang scroll. Did you ever notice how often Ghost and Rae rap about food?
I have a tattoo of a unicorn
I hate Journey
You have something interesting to say. Small talk can be excruciating, I tend to avoid it.
