My self-summary
I'm originally from the mid-west, moved out to the west coast a few years ago to try out a new area and see about finding better/different work. A bit of an adventure, but better to give things a shot than muddle around doing the same old thing until it's too late to get out and do something.
I'm a big fan of tabletop RPG's, and I spend a lot of my free time working on ideas for games or hanging out in game forums to help people with rules questions. I used to play D&D, but now I mostly run Shadowrun, the magical cyberpunk setting.

I like to watch Anime, and play Video Games, even if I don't take as much time to sit down and enjoy them as I used to. Of games, I especially like the Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Harvest Moon series. Most people think Harvest Moon is weird but it takes a strange understanding of the game to truly value it, or at least that is what I think.
A bit rant'ish but I think it gets the point across...

I am sensitive, empathetic, and a survivor
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a tutor while I study to get my teaching degree. My goal is to be a high school math teacher.

I originally went to school for computer graphics, with the hopes of being a program developer. I hope to be able to combine that experience and education and teach technology classes as well.
I’m really good at
Remembering completely pointless rules for the role-playing games that I play.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(Books) The Wheel of Time Series as well as The Lord of the Rings. I stumbled across Mercedes Lackey a while back and I really enjoying her Dragon Jousters series, check out the first book, Joust, if you like dragon stories. Also liked the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.

(Movies) The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, as well as Underworld and Boondock Saints, also a few others I can't remember. I'm also a fan of just about all of Hayao Miyazaki's films, so most of Studio Ghibli.

(Music) Classical, but interestingly enough I also like Electronic Music. I'll really listen to almost anything. Most of the music I have bought has been soundtracks to various things that I like.

(Food) I love Italian and Japanese, and I try to be open to just about anything. My motto is that I'll try anything twice, once for a first try and a second time to make sure it wasn't just a fluke...
Six things I could never do without
1. Computers
2. A tabletop RPG to play around with; Pathfinder, Shadowrun, etc.
3. Some sort of Video Game System
4. Food, but then again we all need that
5. Anime
6. Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What could have been, and what may have happened. But mostly trying to convince myself that I should spend my time doing something more productive and less depressing. But then again some things just always drag me back to dwell on the past that I try to move myself beyond.
On a typical Friday night I am
Not doing anything special, maybe trying to relax or find something better to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll cry at the emotional stuff in shows and movies. If it gets to me, I won't hold back. I think it can even help make those really deep scenes hit on an even deeper level.
You should message me if
You're interested in a gamer or the games. I always enjoy introducing new players to Shadowrun.
