My self-summary
I have two accounts on here, as I split my time between Texas and Ohio for now (mostly in Texas, though). I am not writing all of this shit twice, so I am going to be incredibly dull and just paste my other essays here until I feel the urge to write an entirely new profile for you Texans.

I joined this website for quizzes, banter and finding new friends. I will now make a valiant effort to describe myself and my interests, but, as a warning, it will most likely be creepy, shitty, boring or all of the above.

I enjoy playing video games, especially RPGs. Some of my favourites are Okami, Final Fantasy (especially VII and VIII), Zelda, Kirby and Mario games, as well as WoW, Yoshi's Story, Dragon Age II, Fallout New Vegas and The Elder Scrolls: IV and V. I will kick your ass in a Pokemon battle. Also, while this is not a video game, I rock at Magic (I am madly in love with my white soldier-angel deck).

When I am not playing games, I am usually doing some kind of art. I enjoy doodling, inking and painting dinosaurs from fossils, mythical creatures and little animal characters that range from silly to mildly disturbing. I also take pet portraits for money, because people will pay for literally ANYTHING.

I also collect, boil and bleach animal skulls that I find in the woods. Don't worry, I promise I'm not a serial killer (though I'm sure a serial killer would say that as well). Skeletons are neat.

I am not ashamed to admit that I am somewhat of a cat lady, but proudly not to the extent that I have cat-fur sweaters or refer to them as my children. I have four; my newest is a black kitten named Hatbox Sandwich Motorcycle. Animals are rad.

My background is uninteresting, other than the fact that I grew up in the NATO headquarters in Belgium, so I will leave it at that. I hope this all wasn't too rambly and dull.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working on my second-ish year of college, studying to become a mortician. Aside from that, I suppose what I do would be considered by many to be wasting my life, since I fill a large portion of that time on gaming and art.
I’m really good at
Making parrot and cat sounds (perhaps too good at this), baking (seriously, I make a mean cheesecake), cooking, remembering useless facts and details, startling people and destroying everyone on the Rainbow Road level of Mario Kart Wii.
The first things people usually notice about me
People comment most on my hats, glasses, eyes, strange t-shirts and facial piercings, so probably those.

I imagine they also notice how incredibly nervous I am when I first talk to them, because I am pretty awkward at first, always wringing my hands and fidgeting.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Steppenwolf and Le Petit Prince are definitely my favourites, followed (in no particular order) by Fahrenheit 451, various little books from my childhood such as The Cat Who Lost His Purr and The Fire Cat, anything by Hermann Hesse, Albert Camus, Kurt Vonnegut and J.R.R. Tolkein.

I enjoy reading webcomics, as well. Comics I follow include Johnny Wander, Hark! A Vagrant, Octopus Pie, Girls with Slingshots, Nedroid, Eat More Bikes, Questionable Content and several others.

Movies: Gladiator, The Boondock Saints, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Schindler's List, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Amelie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, V for Vendetta, Secondhand Lions, Defiance, Enemy at the Gates and anything by Hayao Miyazaki. I have a deep love for World War (I AND II) films and historical epics; I am always looking for good film recommendations! I am also a huge fan of b-movies and other lovably awful films like Birdemic: Shock and Terror and The Room.

I don't watch TV often, but when I do, I'm probably watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Yo Gabba Gabba, The Walking Dead, Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!, Trailer Park Boys, Dexter, Game of Thrones or something on National Geographic, Discovery, History or Animal Planet.

Music: Andrew Bird, Blackbird Raum, Elliott Smith, Flotation Toy Warning, Islands, Kaizers Orchestra, Man Man, Neko Case, Russian Red Army Choir, Beethoven, Sea Wolf, Sunset Rubdown, The Boy Least Likely to, Mozart, The Mountain Goats, We Are Scientists and Wolf Parade. I love music, but am quite picky about it.

Food: Pot roast and french onion soup. I'm not too picky about food, though; I have a compromised sense of taste and smell, so a lot of food tastes the same (like nothing) to me.
Six things I could never do without
My cats, good company, fruit roll ups, fresh air, hugs and sarcasm
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Hypotheticals, how things work and, recently, I have found myself frequently wondering if it is possible to name a child a whole (long-winded) sentence, like "This afternoon, I slowly meandered to the dilapidated red barn on the top of the hill by the gnarled oak, and cheerfully greeted the large family of cats that reside within.". I also spend a lot of time fretting.

I think I recently solved that last mystery thanks to someone here on OKC, but I refuse to accept such a horrible thing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting on my ass, probably playing something silly like Pokemon or writhing on the floor out of boredom.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Texas is like a strange foreign country to me.
You should message me if
*Have time to sit and chat
*Think we'd high five
*Want to have a bad movie marathon with me
*Are not a total ignorant twat/meathead/bigot/bible-thumper/combination thereof
*Are not planning to send me any message along the lines of just, "hey sup." If you're in it solely to fuck me, at least make an effort.
*Have good books, films or music to recommend
*You are not going to ask me if I am from Canada.
