Just throwing in some keywords for now..
Funny, witty, sharp: people often don't like it when they're on the receiving end of my jokes. Then again: most of the time my jokes are about me, so that should even things out.
I love to read - books, magazines, papers, internet, anything. Labels on food will do in a case of emergency.
Independent: I don't like being told what I should or shouldn't do, and I don't like telling others what they should do either. As long as you're happy with what you're doing (and don't try to tell me what I should be doing) I am happy.
A bit less cheeky? I'm working as a freelance textwriter for a couple of architecture firms. Although I could use some more business I do love the job. I like writing, I like architecture, and I like the people who work there.
Apart from that: I like to cook, I like food and wine, I love to read, and I don't nearly listen to as much music as I would like.
I'm pretty good at being funny without even trying (let's call that a "good thing" for now), people think I'm clever,
Thankfully that goes away pretty fast once they get to know me a bit.
Music: lots of rock, Tom Petty, Warren Zevon, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits. Love Rufus Wainwright. Listening to some Justin Townes Earle lately.
Some classic as well, a bit of "concert radio" is nice with dinner.
Food: Italian, French, Spanish.. Right now I'm trying to find a good paella recipe that works for me but I can't seem to get the saffron right, the damn dish keeps turning up red.
Give me a few days and I adapt to living without internet, TV, that sort of thing. Coffee takes me a week or so, and I love my coffee.
But the real stuff? Ow.
