My self-summary
Born in Kent, came to Reading for Uni, graduated... somehow never left...

Sometimes I contemplate turning to a life of crime, because I reckon I'd make an excellent villain.
What I’m doing with my life
Working at the Uni in communications. Living with friends in a shared house in Reading, drinking like I am still a student. I haven't yet managed to figure out how to make a living from sleeping late and writing endless plot outlines without ever actually finishing them so 'what I'm doing with my life' is not necessarily 'what I would like to do with my life'...

I'm ridiculously clumsy and have never really had any co-ordination so team sports are right out - I admire and support people who like to be super active but I don't care how much you bench press, I care if you can string a sentence together. If you are really set on meeting someone who wants to run marathons with you then I'm probably not your girl. I like to exercise but it's for the fun of it, not to make sure I'm ready to welcome people to my gun show.
I’m really good at
Reading, writing, talking. I like being the person that listens to people's problems sympathetically and then gives sage advice. I am pretty good at being right or convincing people I'm right even when I'm technically wrong!
The first things people usually notice about me
Red coat and dark eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My dream is to one day have a private library. I'll read most things but I've always been primarily into fantasy - as a kid I read a lot of David Eddings, David Gemmell, Raymond E. Feist, then have graduated over the years to Robin Hobb, GRRM, Patrick Rothfuss and so on. I also read a lot of 'women's writing' and historical fiction. Jeanette Winterson is my favourite author and every word she writes is perfection.

Favourite film is The Lion in Winter because how can you argue with Katharine Hepburn, Anthony Hopkins, and Peter O'Toole running around shouting at each other for a couple of hours?

Music is varied but centres more on rock and metal than anything else
Six things I could never do without
Family, friends, cigarettes, sarcasm, books and fun!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I frequently script conversations in my head where I'm much wittier and cooler than I actually am. I'm always disappointed when people don't say the lines I've already written for them when it comes to the real life scenario.

It's astonishing how many people on here 'love to travel' and are 'always up for trying new things'. Where are the chaps who hate new things and begin every morning in silent terror because it's the start of a new day full of unpredictable outcomes? Do agoraphobes use this site?
On a typical Friday night I am
Being super-cool by staying in with my housemates and watching terrible tv shows, or in the pub. GLAMOUR. Being a Reading girl I spend a lot of time in the Afterdark... if you spot a girl surrounded by flailing meteorologists imitating Morrissey dance moves, that's me out with my housemates.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Is not something I would admit to the general public
You should message me if
You are not a creepster and can hold a conversation. You like overly talkative, slightly tactless, absurdly clumsy people.

I'm a bit skeptical about the 'science' of matching on here, because the questions seem to be based on the idea that you're only looking for people who agree with you on everything. I would obviously be delighted if I found my clone on here, but I enjoy meeting people who are fully-realised individuals in their own right so I'm cool if you don't show as a "match".
